  1. There isn’t mailin voting because people are scared to vote, it’s a more convenient option and also helped lead to much higher turnout. Think about the elderly and more vulnerable populations they weren’t dancing in the streets to Black Eyed Peas songs celebrating Biden’s win.
  2. It was coined by David Brooks who used to work for Newsweek over 20 years ago.
  3. That is interesting. Sort of like when bars have an 11PM last call now for non regulars. Shit I was out till almost 1am Saturday night and prob could have stayed longer....
  4. Quit hating on mail in voting. Making it easier for people to vote, especially during a pandemic is a good thing. Voting should be done over the internet but I’m sure it could get hacked.
  5. New York has an average infection rate of 2.2%. That’s insane low so 49 out of 50 people who get tested are negative. Wow just wow.
  6. Well and everybody was screaming as well which according to Dr. Fauci already droplets. Even Kayleigh McGottaFindANewJob was hating after Trump hosting a dozen super spreader events in a week.
  7. Nice Trump can take credit for it lol.
  8. My mom called me today and said no Xmas this year. So for the first time in years can ski on the 23rd and 24th. I don’t think people should have thanksgiving inside with people outside their immediate households. I’d feel bad if I got Covid and gave it to my parents and killed them or made them real sick. They’re both over 70...which is like a Kenny Loggins song,”In the Danger Zone”
  9. I was in New Hope and Lambertville and their outdoor mask usage is way more than in Allentown. Probably a more similar demographic than Boulder..lots of democrats and BoBos..Bourjois Bohemians...Rich artsy fartsys.
  10. @saltyant wolfie is Wolf Creek.
  11. How long after the reservations went online did you check? Looks like more place should open out there in the next week or so and things spread out more. It’s gotta be especially rough for the people who are used to skiing almost everyday.
  12. I was in Lambertville earlier helping install a big tombstone. Nice getting out of state for a bit.
  13. PoconoOceanCity used to rent a house there.
  14. Sounds like an Alanis morrisette song.
  15. I’m more concerned that it gets cold. Blue will be fine, just like the golf courses. I am waiting till closer to last minute to book travel for this skison.
  16. In Boulder are masks common outdoors? I have not seen anybody wear a mask on any of my walks but I remember you were saying some neighbors yelled at you for not wearing one. Reminds me that I need to order more masks. My Tommy Bahama masks aren’t in season anymore.
  17. I saw somebody last night at the bar who splits his time between here and Florida because he has a girlfriend and a place down there. He said he’s been on about 20 flights since Covid began and he’s seeing older relatives soon so got tested the other day and was negative on the test and antibodies. It shows that planes and airports are pretty safe when masked up. With the rising case count likely be the last time I go out for awhile.
  18. 4035 new cases in PA..nothing to fear they’re just testing more.
  19. They’re not though as employees in restaurants must wear masks and also customers must wear masks when entering, and going to the bathroom. They just opened a new location that I was going to check out but not now. The best area hot dogs, Yoccos is 100% mask compliant. They even require customers to wear masks in the drive thru.
  20. Is shady maple still self service? I saw that at Vegas buffets you now order off a menu and a server brings you whatever you. I haven’t seen any salad bars back yet but wegmans has self service soup bar back.
  21. Sheesh nasty people. I love hot dogs and I’ll never go there.
  22. I’ve heard that eventually there could be an annual booster shot needed. Also 132,000+ new cases today. I remember back around mid July when it was half that think wow just wow...mid December maybe 300k?? Also North Dakota has had the highest per capita rate of infection with about 7% of their population testing positive for corona. PA is ranked 44th with 1.7% officially testing positive. Vermont is ranked last at .3% as far as testing Rhode Island and Alaska have done more than one test per person during this. PA ranks very low in testing with about one test per five people.
