Would you be comfortable being in a bar right now? I don’t understand the earlier last call although early in the pandemic a lot of businesses were closing earlier.

Over 10,000 new cases and a record number of new deaths at 173 in Floridumb. In Aricorona cases are down with only 2336 new cases but 89 new deaths. What a mess.

So my local bar the kitchen is open until 10pm but the bar is open until midnight? Before they were just giving popcorn as a meal. This is their setup.

It sucks for bar and restaurant owners. That’s already a fickle low profit margin industry. Honestly I think indoor dining and indoor bars should just be shutdown in PA.

Guidelines on indoor bars have been ironed out. Popcorn and pretzels don’t count as a meal..mozzarella sticks and fries do. When a patron is finished eating they are not allowed to be served anymore but in theory they could just leave a fry on their plate.

That’s exactly what my friend who sends her kid to catholic school said. She also said kids can’t spread it. I told her that Dr. Fauci said younger kids don’t spread it as much but kids 10+ years old spread it as much as adults they just don’t get as sick from corona generally.

The Allentown school board votes tomorrow on if the school year starts virtually. Based on discussion seems like they will vote for virtual schooling. Such a divide between democrats and republicans on this. Democrats are more likely to be urban folks and minority as well and female..more cautious about things. Republicans don’t want the economy slowing down any more.

She said kids can’t spread corona so teachers have nothing to worry about. Ok sure...from what I read kids under age 10 don’t spread it much but older kids spread the virus just as much as adults.

I imagine a pretty large percentage. The president and companies working on the vaccine have to be optimistic because it benefits the economy but I’m Leary about it. If you look up vaccine on google under news..you can cherry pick articles that range from,”a working vaccine might never occur” to we are well on our way. Think about this they never developed a vaccine for HIV and flu shots are only somewhat effective. Also the people doing these vaccine trials are super healthy people.

Likely would have been about triple the reported cases and the drop off in new cases between the two surges would look more pronounced.

67,000 new cases and 1100 new deaths...a few weeks ago we were at only 30,000 new cases a day and 500 deaths..then deaths stays around that amount and numbers of cases rose. Over 100 new cases today in Floridumb, Aricorona, Calivirus and Texsick

PA county maps. 62 new cases in the city of Allentown in the last week. We are far from out of the woods yet. It’s only one days results but I haven’t seen Monroe county this high in many weeks
