  1. The federal government plans on closing many of their testing sites and leaving it completely to the states. We need more testing so those infected can quarentine and not infect more.
  2. 5,004 new cases in Florida. They’re doing about 30,000 tests daily in that state...PA is around 11,000-12,000 daily tests. Of those tested in PA it’s been running 4-5% of those tested are infected and in Florida it’s 15%+...what’s sketch to me is that the 80-85% that are tested and don’t have it are standing in line for sometimes hours with people who have it. If I was ever in a position to get tested it would be in a strip mall urgent care with an appointment they wanna charge me $100 or tree fiddy whatever but many don’t have that luxury.
  3. Elective surgeries have been halted in Texas hospitals to free up hospital space.
  4. 3056 new cases in Arizona but only 27 new deaths.
  5. Older people like to do things face to face more. When I mail out a contract or proof or invoice to a customer, I always include a stamped addressed envelope. A pretty high percentage of people personally drop it off...some say they don’t trust the mail or they just want an extra errand to run. My dad is very old school and when he was in charge, he wanted multiple meetings per week and if he was talking to me or office manager he wanted 100% attention like locking eyes and shit.
  6. Don’t include me in we...I never thought this would be a distant memory until there was a vaccine. One of my friends thought the initial two week quarentine would solve everything.
  7. Actually 45,000 new cases yesterday....a little lag in reporting. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/24/us-hits-highest-single-day-of-coronavirus-cases-at-36358-breaking-april-record.html
  8. I looked into why Arizona numbers dropped so much...it’s because they only processed 10,000 tests that day. I saw that Florida has a major testing shortage..people are waiting hours in line to be tested and being turned away when they run out. They also don’t have the lab capacity to process the desired tests.
  9. Anybody who gets within arms length of me I’m just gonna touch them. Look for an article in the morning call about me lol
  10. Top ten states by new daily cases. Texas 6,166...Florida 5,511...california 4938...NC 2,384...Arizona 1,795..Georgia 1,703...SC 1,283..Alabama 967...Ohio 965...Tennessee 932
  11. Just under 39,000 cases today and about 800 new deaths. Highest daily. Maybe tomorow only 38,000 they can say things are getting better.
  12. Sickbird. Do you own the house now? You said your parents used to own it? My parents and sister bro in law and niece and nephew are in Lake Anna VA this week. They love it there.. your post reminds me of this song which they play every night at the cowboy bar in Jackson hole.
  13. 1700 new cases for Georgia and 2390 new cases for North Carolina. So far today 25,000+ cases and almost 600 new deaths. Final numbers for the US usually not until around supper time but I’m sure around 35,000 today.
  14. Thanks I haven’t even checked out today’s data in like four hours.
  15. Yeah can only jerk off and smoke cigs so much.
  16. Hah if not for unions they’d be replaced by iPads. Don’t get me wrong I believe the children are our future..you really have to teach them well and let them lead the way..show them all the beauty they possess in side..but not in a creepy way. Give them a sense of pride to make it easier..Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be..but don’t hangout at playgrounds cause that’s weird
  17. Depends on the teachers @poconoceancity Might have some insight. The teachers I know are all bleeding hearts. A lot of the Philly teachers donated their $1200 stimulus money to charity. My friend gave $500 of it away.
  18. Wow just wow. My friend teaches at a ghetto school and barely had to do any teaching last few months. Most of her students don’t have Internet. She did send them goodie bags and everybody passed since there’s no summer school this year. She’s also a Girl Scout troop leader and she masked up and handed out goodie bags to her troop. One of the moms went ballistic on her because their NYC trip was cancelled. Take your kid to New York then. It’s mostly shutdown still at least the touristy stuff.
  19. You’ve mellowed out a lot TP4...
  20. I didn’t think you were on Facebook.
  21. Most office workers who are working from home are not wealthy. For many companies employees will work from home long term or permanently which will mean less office space will need to be leased. At least three PASRs I know of WFH permanently.
  22. WaWa is one of the worst places for social distancing. I’m just glad people are still eating their lunch on the garbage cans outside.
  23. Everybody has different levels of risk. If you have the ability to work from home..go for it. I’ve been in my office six days a week since ski season ended selling a shit ton of tombstones via phone email mail and even fax machine. Office manager scared of her own shadow..she just started seeing her step dad outdoors recently..she can work from home as long as she wants. If you are working at a warehouse or fast food or something there’s no work from home option.
  24. Tuesday numbers lower than Monday numbers for once...that’s grate!!!
  25. Plenty of Gen X’ers and Ok boomers will be cramming into bars and restaurants this weekend. One of my FB friends who’s late 50s and was big time on the reopen PA bandwagon is itching to get back to chamber of commerce networking events. My good friend who leases apartments hasn’t been careful at all..she’s also not that bright...she had her hair did and Botox weeks ago.
