Our flight is scheduled for 3:45pm departure. It was 310pm. I was so lucky to be awaken by Nazareth jay texting updates. While I’m a fan of the direct newark to Jackson flight(when it runs smoothly) I wish it was a little earlier in the day. Checkout is almost five hours before the flight. Me and Atomic Jeff are gonna have to eat lunch really slow.

Seems like you got a lot of your drive done in daylight. I agree with you about when you show up at the airport and plop your bags down you’re ready to go home. It also sort of pissed me off that NMskis cab driver asked if he was sure about going to the airport. I’ve landed and taken offf from JH airport in shit weather and been stuck in town an extra day because of debris on the runway. To pack up everything show up at airport check bags go through security wait a few hours and to then take a cab back to re check in to a different hotel room is disheartening and takes the wind out of your sails. To drive to SLC is productive and even if early flight is a no go lots of backups flying early..I wish we had an earlier flight back tomorrow. 3pm or so flight to Newark and when we arrive it’s the B crew working the oversized baggage..might even crack open a backseat perpetual when I get back to my car. Judging by the weather back east it hasn’t frozen.

The only Floyd may have been the chef at Trio who made a great cap sirloin steak...or also could have been a hurricane or a boxer..I think you’re confusing Jack Frost with Jackson hole..it happens all the time.

JFBB isn’t going out of business. The JFBB passholders have been visiting hunter and mount snow and some have visited western Vail resorts...even a few to liberty and roundtop. Sounds like JFBB are being run more efficiently.

And independently owned ski resorts like Jackson hole and Abasin get on multi passes like the Ikon to increase revenue and visitors.

February 4th, 2020 Day 7 of 7.. Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Arrived at the mountain at around 810am and parking in the village lot. Temperature was around -7 under sunny sky’s. First civilian gondola and amphitheater to thunder chair was nice..Grand was better..up sublette and Rendevous bowl looked good..ended up doing Laramie bowl to the thunder chair then back up thunder and did Grand again to Gros Verte to the base. The stars aligned and we finally took the Tram..was a two Tram wait..Rendevous bowl was in fact very nice the wind had redeposited snow in the moguls and some sections were completely smooth. Skied Rendevous bowl to Grand to thunder very progressive then skied some more blown in chalk below the expert Chutes. Today was like the old school JH days runs were empty no lines at any of the chairs the cold scared some away or people started late today. My Boots felt great today with the cold another level of stiffness. Was nice walking right to car had lunch at Osteria we were the only people there...back at the 49er and Atomic Jeff is running.

The Wonder Years song is playing now, reminds me of a simpler time when I’d go to parties sometimes until four..was hard to leave when I couldn’t find the door.

Current views. Gonna park right in the village lot today like VIPs as it’s $15 at ranch lot with less than three folks. Free in Stilson could park there and take the bus with Cody, Hannah, Bryce, Bridger, Kale and Petri Dish.

Minus 7 on walk to bagel place. Turns out the egg sandwiches were 20 minutes late the last two days because the baker won shake a day for 4 grand and ended up getting drunk and arrested and in jail. He was back today and they gave me a coupon for a free coffee for my troubles.
