Hey All, I’m back from a fun Sunday morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. When I woke up ther was a little ice sheen on my car but the radar didn’t look that bad. Easy drive to blue the true and arrived at like 715..just like yesterday with a temperature of 28 degrees consistent with the last several ski days. In the house were Johnny Law, BenB, Atomic Jeff, MBike Mike, Mrs SnowBunski, Enjorales, Enjorales dad, Ryan, Mute, Matt Edge, TheDude4Bides and many others. Opening bell was a dream..no precipitation and great snow was a western groomer and amazing conditions from 8am until 8:09 am. Shit got loose and rowdy/spicy fast but still some solid runs early. The guns continued to blast on upper Main Street, lazy mile, tuts lane and in the valley. No liftlines to speak of...not many people there although they were selling more tickets than expected considering the weather. Short parking lot session with some PASRs as freezing rain began to fall with more intensity. Perfect temperatures to keep beer cold but not frozen..was a bonus day for sure as it’s before Memorial Day..JADIP

Blue has been doing great with the weather they’ve had. Shadows when are we gonna see you.

20” in the last 24 hours in Jackson hole...precip was just stalled over the Tetons all night long after about 14” the precious 48 hours. Going from zero to 100 real quick.

I haven’t been paying attention to forecasts since 7am but I’ve seen more ominous storms fizzle out and I wake up at 6am and there’s no precipitation on the radar from here to Harrisburg. I will be monitoring the situation now back to Linda in the studio with the situation from the Lehigh valley mall...Worldstar

TP4 should be nice this evening..have fun. Tomorrow for me will be a nowcasting event. Expect the worst hope for the best.

Hey All, Im back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the upper lot at dark oh thirty aka 715am and BenB, JFDan, Atomic Jeff, Indiggio, NMSki, Ryan, Mute, Mixilplix, Tarpenhead, MBike mike, Mrs. SnowBunski, Johnny Law, Enjorales, Enjorales dad, Gary, Slim, Rudolph the red nosed reindeer were all in the house. The temperature was in the upper 20s under partly sunny sky’s. Rope drop yielded the best conditions of the season. Vista to midway to lower Main Street was like a western groomer. Maybe western Pennsylvania..come around had very nice stiff cord and with the 8am opening the first few runs had some piece and quiet. Yeah it was like Groundhog Day for blues fifth day of operation this season but anything before the Fourth of July is bonus so gotta enjoy the one and a half runs open while the snowmaking cannons continued to roar on upper Main Street, lazy mile and in the valley. No lifines during the hour and a half I skied and some decent crowds started showing up late morning when I was enjoying a beer and potato chip buffet in the lot...been a great start to the season the the forecast looks interesting...thanks Blue you’re my boy!!!’

Was weird having Carve the mascot hanging with us waiting for the rope drop. My sister used to be the mascot at Red Robin and she’s get pissed when I’d walk up to her and say Hi Laura.
