I don’t like how they switched weekday to off peak and weekends to peak. Makes the hours confusing to some cause I don’t think of this weekend as peak time I think of a true holiday as peak..they’ll save thousands in employment costs opening at 9am vs 830am on weekdays. Will also give a bunch more people a chance to make it up there for opening..especially on pow days..also will make it tougher for some to sneak in some runs before work...I disapprove of the change even though it will likely only affect me a handful of days this season if that.

Some on Blues facebook page are a bit upset at weekday openings now being 9am vs 830am this season. One guy even said he’s considering not buying a season pass for next season because of it.

Take it to the roll call thread lol. For right now Sunday is showing snow changing to rain and back to snow. It’s five days out though but if it’s gonna rain would likely be on a Sunday.

Hey All, It’s almost Thanksgiving weekend. Who’s gonna be at Blue mountain the true mountain this friday-Sunday? Looks like nice comfortable temperatures and no chance of rain until Sunday. Looks like a 9am opening on Friday and perhaps a 8am opening Saturday and Sunday if this weekend is considered peak. Should be ok skiing and good beer drinking.

West is an easier hike east is harder with rock scrambling the first section.

So far this season only one of them. Spinning both will help the liftlines but with snow on only one side, not enough people can go through the scanners to fill both chairs and if both are running the terrain open would be even busier.

Starting December 1, yes. This time of year overnight snowmaking temperatures will do. The around the clock snowmaking temps of a few weeks ago is an anomaly

Or just take the mahoning valley exit and avoid 22 entirely

I don’t know how upper Main Street is possible. Maybe if they move some of the snow from tuts lane into it. Also looks like 8am opening this Saturday and Sunday and this season 9am might be the opening on weekdays instead of 830 last season at least that’s what the bottom of Toasts post from Instagram alludes to.

Yes especially with the 9am start time and the fact that there’s a very limited amount of local skiing and terrain open. They really only have the capacity for a couple hundred skiers and riders right now max
