Opening day forecast..sunny with temperatures rising from the 20s into the 30s..comfortable for most..facemask weather for Salty

Will likely be my latest weekend start all season. I’ll still prob get there around 8 and maybe dilly dally into lodge and see if pass works. Last time they said that I have to see if it works at the scanners. Ok now need to gather my ski stuff and buy 12 pack of perpetual.

Hey All, Blue is opening for the season on Saturday 11/16 at 9am. Anybody going to be there for the rope drop? Another short off season under 7 months for me and under 6 months for some. Great stuff.

Yeah I saw about the groomer on lower Main Street. Also surprising how quiet blues Facebook page is.

Blue isn’t opening with vista they’ll have plenty of snow for Main Street lift to open.

Great indeed I just talked to the mayor of Bethlehem on the phone.

It sure is luck. Jackson hole started off great with 42” of snow and now it’s warm and dry there but just a couple good storms and all could change.

Conditions vary from week to week day to day and hour to hour. Steamboat has a nice pod off to the left that has some mad river glen esque natural terrain. I only skied steamboat for two days in early April 2014...you can handle most of the single blacks there’s. It’s not a very tough mountain. Upper right is a whole pod of light blue trails and one block called Huervos Rancheros lol

Yeah spring break is March. Every week from late January onward gets slightly busier than the previous one until mid-late March then things empty out.

I think TP4 was there during spring break.

But Steamboat is far enough off the beaten path that it never gets that crowded..sort of like Aspen.

Well it’s later in the winter I believe. Late February is more crowded and expensive than early February.
