Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:15am and it was 28 degrees with a rising sun. In the house was everybody except Kyle, Salty, RideDE, Nancy and Hayata. First OG six pack to challenge which was a little slick and uneven but better than yesterday. Lazy was good initially and I repeated that. Coming soon had some new manmade which was nice and lower paradise was very variable and nutty. I skied chute for the first time this season and snow was ok for the 5 seconds of it with quite the lip. The rest of Main Street was the washboard rolly polly stuff. I also skied mid way to little gap to burma and pretty slick. Crowds were a little less than yesterday. Another fun parking lot and Enjorales had Gumbo for us. It either needs to get warmer or colder for conditions to improve. This in between stuff just leads to deep sugar. It’s nice that there’s no features on barbs way, now they’re on Central Park. No pictures today.

8 out of 10 is good….anything over two out of three ain’t bad at least when it comes to meatloaf.

Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 715am and it was sunny with the temperature around freezing to start. In the house was everybody except Zonked, Toast, PARidge, Ski2Live, ZZSlope, Enjorales cousin and Ed Bacon. First civilian OG six pack to challenge which was solid and not that smooth sort of chattering snow. Lazy mile was nicer pretty smooth and light sugar to begin, Main Street was pretty inconsistent with a skiff of new manmade snow. I enjoyed Coming soon, part of it was boilerplate but at least it was smooth and lower paradise was pretty dense sugar. Paradise was smooth and sugar, a return to lazy and it was super deep like a foot deep sugar. You’d need something at least 150mm underfoot to float on that run some maybe some K2 Pontoons..I also skied Burma road which was progressive and X-ing which still had frozen cord at 920am. Fun parking lot today with like 20 people, JFDan still has Halloween candy so had some of that and some Chips and a few beers as the temperature rose into the 40s. With good grooming and some snowmaking overnight, tomorrow could be decent.

Just got to remember to bite in a little or do the ole shuffle

And that’s no big deal that happens every month of most seasons. Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow. Time to check the webcams.

The forecast is decent for snowmaking, the main thing is that while not super cold, the forecast for the next week is dry so I expect overnight snowmaking. I don’t see any trails closing, blue is gonna get switchback open and maybe sidewinder. Airhead was talking about long range forecast being cold, it’s not the 8-14 is above average so they need to blow every chance they get. You got this Blue, you’re my boy…let’s fucking go…

I’ll have to research and my friends ears are prob ringing right now cause she’s a huge Queen fan and has Brian Mays shoes and also a painting from the one armed drummer from Def Leppard..I think he had an art show somewhere in the Philly area. I first heard Queen in the movie Revenge of the Nerds..I kind of feel like a lot of PASRs have seen that movie.

Nice report and try to give us a real time report from Killington!!! Lots of good reports on PASR lately and I still haven’t skied raisins ledge or challenge this season. Crazy.

I’ve tailgated before events other than skiing and did the low key tailgate thing with sandos…my delivery guy went to bear creek for supper with his wife and said the burger was like $20-25..that’s the same as Jackson hole and Blue mountain. Crazy…can get Chinese food for three people for that on the way home. I’m glad y’all had that long cold stretch two weeks ago..sad AF start to season thanks GSS

The Lifts: Good: Those JH lifts boot you up there…and the entire trip maybe 3-4 two minutes or less stops. Was mostly ski on..not many liftlines I don’t count if it’s like 10 chairs or less that’s just a chance to unbuckle boots and wipe sweat from brow. When it was a little busy when skiing solo late morning, I never waited over like 3 minutes in a singles line and would have been less but some really skittish people in the singles line and dumbass snowboarders who need to be on the outside. Everybody pulls the bars down now…there used to be pushback from the locals years ago and on short lifts like Teton and Teewinot, I often just went with the flow while gripping the lift for dear life lol. Bad: the oil was drip drip dripping on peoples ski stuff the one day mostly on Mute and Atomic Jeff from I think the Sublette chair or maybe thunder. Ugly…the look on the faces of two employees when I was about to board the gondola they were on..so then I held up and got to ride up with my homeys.

How fast was your top speed today? Crazy that razors opened before Floyd’s.

Was it sugar or chunks? For bad conditions you sure put in a good session..WTGAI!!
