  1. Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:25am and the temperature was in the low teens. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, Johnny Law, Mixilplix, Salty, TP4, Mute, BooBear, Enjorales, Pops, MBike Mike, Nastar Glenn, Schifdawg, Nancy, BenM, Charles and many others. First order of business was getting my bad foot into ski boot…success. Second civilian chair on the super summit safari six pack. First run on Main Street which was pretty good. First slow squeaky snow of the season I’ve skied…Lazy had nice snow as well and got my first falls of the season. No lip on the falls and the runout was smooth. Up the quad to Coming soon which was a bit ratty but good grip. Lower paradise already a clusterfuck like 820am. Then skied Paradise and decent snow but very busy. I did one run on lower Widowmaker to midway to lower main and lower Widowmaker was small cookies. The Chute is open but pure cookies. Definitely some entertaining lift rides seeing beginners out of control on chute and Main Street and even a runaway ski. I skied lazy again and ended my session with a couple on Main Street..upper Main Street was pretty quiet. Guns are blasting on nightmare/dreamweaver and challenge. Fun but chilly parking lot, first parking lot session I kept my gloves on this season. Also had a Tesla parked like 16” away from my car. While I skied liftlines were a few minutes max but I’m sure they got into the 10+ minute range. All the high speeds running helped, helped make the trails more crowded lol. I’m probably skipping tomorrow and sleeping in had my fill of Blue…gotta get ready for JH on Tuesday. See everybody in February for the third quarter. JADIP
  2. It’s not that bad. I wouldn’t say brutally cold…more like seasonably cold.
  3. @saltyant I’m really good at water slides and I pee in the lazy river..
  4. That is dope..when blue builds their water park, it will be sweet if the non snitch paints a mural next to the wave pool.
  5. I’m glad Blue is making money…
  6. I’m glad Blue is making money…
  7. I agree gotta watch out for rainbow rails and disco boxes in the back country. They need to bring back the steps. I used to love skiing down them, they were mad crispy.
  8. I would just ski more coming soon. Freaking nice it isn’t over run by the race honks
  9. Yeah hmmmm maybe it’s the new ownership cause last season was a super strong start. Ok before last season come around was the place to be for the jib unit early season. Dime maybe switch over to skiing and become a racer.
  10. I haven’t been on the vista chair this season. The view of Tuts lane from the top of the vista chair is majestic..
  11. Yeah Dime with a decent start to the season come around is the place to be for the Jib Unit..this season Mother Nature had other plans.
  12. @saltyant might have an extra face mask you can borrow. I’m just glad I found my balaclava. Gonna be mad brick, maybe even cinderblock..
  13. The sun will come out tomorrow. It’s always sunny in Little Gap.
  14. #Following
  15. Blues park Crue is always top touch and has progressed from the early days when they stood next to the big dawg booters smoking cigs and laughing at the wipeouts. They’ve progressed now they vape.
  16. Blue shouldn’t have a park on their busiest run. They could actually make a narrow entrance for more fuckery in hopes of getting more people onto homestretch…once Central Park opens up, should spread things out a little. There’s also the little cut through meant for ski patrol that goes under the OG six pack from homestretch back to lower barbs way and can have some real nice snow but better keep your head on a swivel cause always seems to be somebody at that mini merge
  17. I’ve never skied Breck…it’s always like $169 to ski there when I’m out there and ABasin and Loveland $100 or less…I skied steamboat for two days in 2014 and back then it was about $100 a day.
  18. You’re definitely almost a Gerald now you can pocono shuffle with the best of em. I like when you make a lot of short turns on the super steep challenge run and reminds me of my windshield wipers going back and forth..it’s radical. @saltyant after I return from JH, we can meet up at the Ciocca Subaru service center. I’ll introduce you to the ladies at the loaner car department and we can sip complimentary deer park water and hot cocoa. There’s even free popcorn in the showroom.
  19. At Blue it used to be that if you skied off piste the ski patrollers would be piste off…a couple seasons ago everything was in play…the bike trails mess up a lot of the tree skiing and the famous Marquee route.
  20. That’s back when you were a jerry.
  21. Yes!!!! Haters gonna hate mad cause you ain’t…
  22. I’ve barely needed edges this season at Blue…and still at unsettled pattern..wax is good for cold slow snow though and sticky spring snow.
  23. I feel like you’re doing something with the ski shop every visit. At this point prob going to JH with untuned skis..no different than last year or the previous year.
  24. There will be a lot of people going out their first day of the season tomorrow. I think this is the longest break I’ve had from Blue in the last 20 years that I wasn’t away and they weren’t closed.
  25. Hey all, Its another weekend and we’ve had two snowfalls this week and some cold air. Is anybody planning on skiing or riding Blue mountain the true mountain? I make my triumphant return to Blue the true tomorrow after a six day break. I don’t know if I’m skiing Sunday but can’t let this good snow go to waste and my foot has been healing all week. Gonna be mad brick..I might have to go into the lodge to get my boots off. Oh and people thinking the cold will scare people away, you have to be joking. A predict it will be really crowded this weekend but if they can keep all three high speeds going, shouldn’t be long liftlines first two hours. Time to set my alarm.
