  1. I feel like you’re doing something with the ski shop every visit. At this point prob going to JH with untuned skis..no different than last year or the previous year.
  2. There will be a lot of people going out their first day of the season tomorrow. I think this is the longest break I’ve had from Blue in the last 20 years that I wasn’t away and they weren’t closed.
  3. Hey all, Its another weekend and we’ve had two snowfalls this week and some cold air. Is anybody planning on skiing or riding Blue mountain the true mountain? I make my triumphant return to Blue the true tomorrow after a six day break. I don’t know if I’m skiing Sunday but can’t let this good snow go to waste and my foot has been healing all week. Gonna be mad brick..I might have to go into the lodge to get my boots off. Oh and people thinking the cold will scare people away, you have to be joking. A predict it will be really crowded this weekend but if they can keep all three high speeds going, shouldn’t be long liftlines first two hours. Time to set my alarm.
  4. Blue was still skiers only the 95-96 ski season. They were amoung the last five or six hold outs including mad river glen, Alta, Deer Valley and Taos. Back then regularly families would show up with one snowboarder and told no snowboarders and everybody left so in 96-97 they allowed snowboarders.
  5. How’s as the snow underneath the fresh?
  6. Were you an electrician? I remember you said you initially went to college for some sort of religious studies
  7. I think the park scene is dying out. 15-20 years ago it was huge with terrain parks and half pipes at even little ski areas. Big boulder was an almost all park mountain. I think a lot of the JibHonks have grown up and either don’t ski anymore or keep their skis on the snow. When blue first opened a terrain park, it was called a snowboard park and I believe snowboarders only.
  8. The person who spammed this site without ever posting anything about skiing needs to get a life. Also sorry about your wife.
  9. How have cliffhanger and Mississippi mile been??
  10. Funny how everybody calls it raisins. Who started that??
  11. I had to turn it off with the customer I just had in my office but she only lost her husband in December.
  12. Just a tiny blip of the ladies who have coke and gone into and out of my life. Don’t worry have a few on the radar.
  13. Nice did you see any ladies in bikinis?…is there free ski check or do you bring skis into restaurant?
  14. Who took the picture. Maybe taken by drone.
  15. 61 days in a row in 2007 was amazing..cue “Glory days” in the background..back then I used to just straight run mostly and I actually kept my skis waxed and sharpened regularly. I used to PM female PASR members, even rose back in the day didn’t know she was Justos Bae lol. Got me three dates with Melissa and a tour of Scranton.
  16. You’ve been super dedicated since New Years..I might make you a plaque. I still have your 20 ounce Mountain Dew chilling in my fridge. Might even get you a code red as well depending on how business is the next few days lol
  17. It sure is @saltyant thanks for the tag..after I get back from JH I’m gonna want to know how things have been at camelback and if your hot sister is married unless I see you at Blue this weekend.
  18. I’m jealous…that is a cool top sheet.
  19. All good points..it’s not like Blue has a fence around it. Remember the old days when you got your ticket checked/scanned at the upper or lower lodge and then lifties didn’t really check tickets? You could buy a morning pass and ski as late as you wanted as long as you didn’t go back into the lodge. I was a badass so I’d ski till 2pm sometimes on a ticket that expires at 1230pm. Sorry it’s gotta be past the statute of limitations. That’s back when then the liftees looked straight out of 70s rock bands plus 50-100 pounds. Some of Ray Tuthills construction crew and Palmeraneons, not to be confused with the small dog. It’s brick out there I have to get fully bundled up just to grab something from my car aye Carumba
  20. I have people call my work weekly trying to get us to switch our electric supplier. They always start out by saying,”grab your electric bill” and I say if you’re calling from PPL you should have it. The last one the decrease was like a half cent per kilowatt hour. I said that’s gonna save us a couple dollars a month not worth it. My bills are between like $70 and $120 so no need for solar panels.
  21. Have you checked mapquest to verify?
  22. Probably his wife’s thing. Maybe she’s one of those 40 year old women obsessed with the Barbie movie.
  23. I agree he hasn’t post a single report…it’s like the people who’s first ever post is trying to sell something. I think the rule should be at least 100 posts before you can sell plus reference and background checks.
  24. I don’t think it’s about people being warm. They’re blowing at bear creek and elk.
  25. Maybe they aren’t at Liberty to say why. It’s pretty obvious it’s cause of PPL the same thing happened last year, I was just asked about it last weekend in the lot and when it was similar temperatures. Don’t worry when it warms up later I’m sure they can turn the guns back on.
