Hey All, I’m back from a fun session at Blue mountain. Today was like an other weekend session except I skied 3 hours later than normal. Bob the deadhead liftee said we must be in California lol. In the house were NMSki, Shadows, Atomic Jeff, Johnny Law, gahskier George, Slim and silver full face helmet guy. Arrived at the lower lot before 1045 and was on the snow by 11. Dense fog was present on the top 3/4 of the mountain the majority of the time. At first I was skiing a little slower as I couldn’t see the snow surface but as the runs progressed I got more confident skiing by Braille and put the hammer down. Lazy and paradise were skied the most..I also skied Switchback twice which had really nice snow and lower widowmaker to Main Street to lower Main Street. Temperaturs stayed around 40 and it was damp and the winds picked up. Snow was the hero variety..zero complaints about the snow was fast and soft and smooth due to lack of traffic. Was nice to have a break from the sugar before it returns this week. After skiing two hours hungout in the lot another hour and now at work logging in Saturday’s mail orders. Only picture I took was my breakfast sandwich from Sheetz. Fried egg, bacon, cheddar, tomato and pico on everything bagel. Not bad. I should be back at Blue on Tuesday night...JADIP!!

Nope races were on 90 kids had two runs each. Fog was dense only rained a little bit from 1045-2

Gonna be serious avalanches this week. This storm is upside down as well. Starting out as light and dry powder and transitioning to heavy wet snow and even rain in the lower elevations midweek.

Hey All, I’m back from a fun Saturday morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 718am and it was 28 degrees under clear sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, Ryan, Mute, Toast, Johnny Law, Nazareth Jay, Indiggio, Schifdawg, Tarpenhead, Slim, Gary, GSSUcks, Justo, Rose, Ty, ZZSlope, Joan and many others. I ended up with second civilian chair and guy on lift asked if we were all locals then was like the lehigh valley chamber of commerce. Another guy on the ride talked about having the Ikon pass and I said definitely use it at Jackson hole it’s the best place on the Ikon pass and he said that copper and steamboat are on it..ok. First run on challenge was better than expected smooth and firm. I skipped second run on Sidewinder due to the Root rollers and did a repeat on challenge. Then a few laps on Switchback which was good but lower park was like the beach..lots of sandy sugar. The patroller who was on my case Thursday was out again and I found a window where he was on a different run for a speed run on paradise and it was ok..lazy mile also wasn’t bad initially as was upper Main Street. I tried some of the Main Street bumps and they were big and icy...Crowds were solid not crazy record setting but substantial. The lot was fun with lots of snacks and enjorales brought a few waffles for us and they were good. All in all it was a fun time on the slopes. I’d like to ski tomorrow late morning when the rain ends. Arrival time TBA.
