  1. Bob Barker doesn’t have any kids.
  2. Hey All, Im back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was in the low 40s under cloudy sky’s with pea soup fog on the upper mountain. In the house were Atomic Jeff, BenM, NMSki, PARidge, enjorales, MBike mike, Mrs Snowbunski, Bethlehem Ford crew. Dirtwolf, Matt Edge, PSUFly, JFDan, Mute, Becky Boo and many more. Second civilian super summit safari six pack into the fog. CSS can’t see shit conditions on easy out and vista and the fog lifted on midway. The snow was soft and pleasent until lower Main Street which was that rolly Polly conditions. Crowds increased a bit every run..really not a lot of people out just limited terrain. I did one burma road and sort of caught an edge but recovered..there are snow snakes lurking out there. Also skied over to homestretch twice for a little peace and quiet and smooth snow. Fun parking lot today with beers and snacks and nice comfortable temperatures. The second thaw of the season is officially on with warmth and rain for the next two days..I think Blue will survive this but again they’ll be back to resurfacing existing terrain midweek. Let’s hope for a prolonged cold spell soon. JADIP
  3. I think it didn’t run for a bit
  4. Oh we have a guarantee..its on the back of our contract. Granite is very strong and holds up well against the elements. Marble is much softer and over time weathers away due to acid rain. That’s why on a lot of older memorials stones from the early 1900s and before, it’s hard to even make out the writing. While granite gets dirty, it does not weather away against the elements. Bronze markers look great when they’re brand new but over time they start to turn green and blue. That is known as Patina and some like that hue… Our guarantee does not cover vandalism or an act of god/nature like a lightning strike…also help control the pet population have your pet spayed or neutered.
  5. Well then you can stay up late posting on here…did you stop at a brewery on the way home for a draft root beer or chocolate milk?
  6. This is my thread and I approve. Best sleeping pill ever!!!
  7. @saltyant are you excited to ski tomorrow??
  8. More than 16 feet long in the bed cause that’s the biggest job we’ve done so far with this truck. If everybody sits butt to nuts tobaggan style could prob fit 69 people or so. Sheesh if a large Chrysler from the late 80s fits about 20 then yeah prob almost 70..charge $5 a pop you have tree fiddy. And have only had one and a half drinks so far.
  9. Warranty? Your best approach is to contact cemeteries about your services..there are a lot of them and perhaps clean a bunch. On an individual basis, the most people are willing to pay for cleaning memorial stones is $200 max..some think $50 is alright and those amounts are so tiny to deal with the logistics. Anyway I hope all is well…even though you aren’t quite ready to ski maybe come up and hang with us in the lot sometime.
  10. Paul was close. I usually guess ten years under just to be sure. I got yelled at by an 85 year old yesterday…but she’s still my friend.
  11. Photo courtesy of Dirtwolf. Wow and I thought it was crowded at 10.
  12. There will be more people cause of Ikon and I’m sure some camelback regulars have infiltrated Blue since they’re not open yet and I’m sure some Bear creek regulars. I’ve been watching the Vista cam looking for Dirtwolf and Matt Edge..it’s chaotic and I heard the super summit safari six pack was down so everybody was taking the quad.
  13. Generally about 10-12:1. Light and dry western cold smoke is more like 20-25:1
  14. Hopefully…all depends on the weather.
  15. Nice I can’t wait for your report later.
  16. In my opinion it’s about keeping existing terrain open…2-3” of rain coming later this weekend and a couple days of warmth so when it gets cold again they’ll have to resurface.
  17. Less coverage than last weekend
  18. We have power washing equipment..so if somebody wants their tombstone cleaned, my delivery guy does it.
  19. Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 825am and it was 33 degrees under mostly cloudy sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Mute, PARidge, C1, Dirtwolf, Toast, Bethlehem ford crew, Rodney’s crew and Airhead. Leisurely start and maybe the 6th civilian super summit safari six pack. Easy out and vista had pleasant almost packed powder conditions, the beginning of midway wasnt bad, firm but some grip and lower down was uneven and slick, kind of rolly Polly on lower main. Leading into Barbs way was also pretty slick and the move was doing a Tokyo drift. Almost every run skied the same route and it got progressively busier…coverage was fine, I skied burma once and was decent and a little slick in the corners..just so many people on it. Lots of beginners, boomers and snowboarders out today. It felt downright warm and the temperature rose to the 40s real fast. After skiing had a beer in the lot with Mute and back at work now…best thing is my office manager sold a $5800 tombstone while I was skiing…that’s always the best. Ski some of you tomorrow JADIP
  20. Because olds don’t come out as much in the winter and once the ground is frozen, cemeteries stop putting in foundations. Are you the former TNT?
  21. Mad inversion right now 37 at the upper entrance and 33 at the base. I bet it feels like Tallahassee at the peak.
  22. I just hope Saltys mom got him the right kind of pop tarts or he’ll be in a bad mood for hours.
  23. I think Minya Konya is open and belt parkway..Salty let’s make this a day of kindness.
