Blue has the most powerful snowmaking system in NEPA and the temperatures have been cooperative. Don’t worry the crowds will come..this weekend I expect moderate crowds but if you can get there early should have a bunch of runs in before lines fill the corrals.

I never cooked with my grandma but I took her out to dinner a lot. What’s crazy is I used to drive five minutes to have dinner at my parents house and now I drive 4 hours.

Hey All, It’s almost another weekend...the third weekend of the ski season. Are any PASRs gonna be at Blue mountain the true mountain this weekend? I plan on being there both days. Looks like some sunshine and comfortable weather...should be a nice one!!!

A snow maker I talked to said they were pumping out 8,000 gallons of water a minute the day before opening when it was in the teens.

It’s funny but true...I have probably 50 funnier stories involving my customers and the squeaky wheel always gets the grease...out of the 100 days I skied at Jackson hole I only had one day when I asked for a ticket refund and that day I just managed one 2,000 vert run from the top of apres vous and one 2800 vert fun from top of gondola..then all the lifts shut down I got in line for a voucher and they gave m the equivalent of one day ticket in a gift card..then I ate and drank and skied snow king later that afternoon for two hours. #SaltyProblems #SaltLyfe #GiftCard # Rad #Liftlines #EarlyBirdGetsWorm #LivinLaVidaLoca

Blue said on their Facebook page no six this weekend. I’m sure they don’t want to spend the extra on staffing and operating expenses for six pack and lower lodge.

Salty actually used the gift card for night skiing and the night ticket was $5 less and it turns out they didn’t give him the $5 difference so the next run he went into the lodge and demanded $5 difference and he ended up losing the $5 gift card lol. Salty is something else.

It’s gonna happen this weekend salty knows. Unless there’s rain in the forecast.

Root loves lazy...he gets so excited for lazy that I once saw him drooling.

I bet there will be a lot of people out for their first time this season. Blue needs to make that Johnny cash. They didn’t make much $$$$$ this past Friday and Saturday.

Was that two weeks after thanksgiving when blue had massive liftlines? Let’s hope they blow snow to the Burma lifeline so they can load lifts more efficiently. It will always be impossible to fill all the chairs with their current setup.
