Hey All, It’s almost another weekend...who’s gonna be at Blue mountain for opening weekend? I plan on skiing Blue mountain the true mountain friday, Saturday and Sunday. Let’s hope it’s more than just Vista chair tomorrow or will be the ultimate shit show. Looks cold for tomorrow AM..and springlike Sunday..dress like an astronaut.

They had the snowmaking issues fixed on vista a couple hours ago. St like 2am the guns were still off on vista. Serious blowing on lower Main Street.

On Facebook blue mountain has actually been responding to and liking my posts.

Well that’s good news. Woo woo woo

Blue was never so aggro about getting open for Root Friday in the Ray tuthill days...Earliest openings then was first weekend in December. I think that PoconoOceanCity was onto something when he said social media has forced more resorts to open earlier..and a little help from Mother Nature.

The temperature just shot up. 38 in the A now..guns off on lower Main Street..I’m sure will be off on vista soon but temperatures should drop fast later this afternoon. Will give the snowmakers a chance to catch their bearings after a grueling couple hours of snowmaking. Operation blizzard 3.0 is gonna be Lit when the guns are Lit.
