If Blue can’t get open this weekend looks like it won’t be open for another two weeks based on the forecast. Doesn’t look like snowmaking temps this coming weekend or early next week.

Possible record low temperatures on Thursday. Teens in the Lehigh valley perhaps some single digits in the poconos. If you haven’t already done so now is a good time to bring in your tropical pets and plants.

20 miles vs 200 for me

I’m not giving up hope for a chance at Blue for Root Friday. Tuesday night to Thursday looks awfully cold round the clock snowmaking. Could be a Saturday opening to give them an extra day. Now next weekend the dreaded R word is in the forecast but it’s a long way out so could change.

Big house seems like a lot of work to me.

Hah I’ve put in 50-70+ days a season every year since I could drive I’m good. Been there done that driving 400 miles round trip for WROD...I’m taking third trip out west to make up for not skiing BB.

Thats why I need to stay out of the bars. Those people are retards about skiing. They go to killington one time 15 years ago on their Saloman cap skis from high school and they think they’re experts. And when Blue is open and they ask what trails are open they think I’m nuts for going with only a few runs open. I really think some of the asian invasion and Matt edge showed up this weekend at Blue expecting to ski.

If I was blue I would have gathered truckloads of snow from the entire mountain and put it on easy out vista midway and Main Street. Maybe enough for a bonk yard on come around. The snow is relevant for getting people excited about skiing.
