The high school in Aspen is right near the base of Aspen Highlands...Aspen residents pay fairly low property tax rates as well due to such a high tax base and small percentage of homeowners being year round and even using the schools. That field looks nicer than some of the local colleges. I actually saw saw a condo for sale on Zillow for $55,000 but it’s a 1/12 share with only one week of the four weeks during ski season. Wow just wow.

I’ve been busy making money at work. April was our fifth best month in the last 5 years and May is off to a robust start.

I don’t know about last year but some years and only on the upper mountain. This was a very lean snow year from Vail to Telluride.

I’d enjoy the drive from Loveland to aspen to see the temperature rise. It’s 77 right now in Carbondale where the aspen folks to grocery shopping and to Wendy’s.

When there more snowpack you can ski below the bottom of lift 8 right down to the highway and then walk through a tunnel under the highway which leads you to the run out of the base area.

That’s not difficult terrain...I would Hollywood right past them that would be a double blue at Jackson not a double black. But Jackson has been closed for a month.

I drove the top of the line Impreza anniversary edition wagon a few weeks ago for a few hours when my car was being serviced and it was badass. I finally had a little clout in the wegmans parking lot amoung the MILFs who are now mostly younger than me.

What rental car company? I assume it’s a business expense? I’ve rented from Alamo at the Denver airport 5 times before...always a pleasure dealing with them and I don’t say that about many businesses. I think there’s so much competition among rental car company’s that they all have to be on their A game. If you’re at the Farmington airport in New Mexico you might get a Harrison Ford Escort when you booked a Chevy Traverse..

Natural snow doesn’t hold up as well to warmth as manmade snow. You’re gonna like ABasin next weekend. More steps than Loveland although I don’t know if the Pali lift and Montezuma lift will still be open. Only one lift at ABasin doesn’t have a safety bar.
