  1. You should go next week when you have your spring break.
  2. Last season?? Was there an April snowstorm??? Because last season within a week of closing the snow almost completely vaporized away.
  3. The last time they closed the day before Easter was 2008. In 2016 they closed a week before Easter.
  4. Not by Blue by me..just like there are talks of Vail wanting to buy blue mountain
  5. They'll escort you out. No skiing allowed after the mountain closes. If it was national forest service land it would be fine but it's private property
  6. Last season we lucked into a 17" snowstorm and cold snowmaking weather. I never recall them staying open past an early Easter. I'll check back to be sure.
  7. The funny thing is this guy is poor lol
  8. I'd be thrilled with that.
  9. What's NE??
  10. Root...and I run my mouth at people all the time. Had an argument recently at the bar with somebody who doesn't like Donald trump and he's getting like $40 extra a paycheck due to his tax decrease and he wants to pay more taxes to help poors.
  11. Wow you're such an intellectual. I'm just eating breakfast now. Didn't get out of bed till 2
  12. Whenever I run my mouth on somebody I just wanna blame anxiety bahahahahaha HTFU
  13. Blue has way too many clinics and programs running this week to do that. They've never closed midweek this early. Plus the weather is good at least monday-Wednesday
  14. With Easter falling on Sunday April 1st the latest blue will be open is march 31st
  15. You can't plan a party when Blue is closed. End of season party is rarely the last weekend of the season because we never know exactly when closing day will be.
  16. Wow well at age 29 Salty qualifies for the junior pass at Camelback which is insane. Holy extended adolescence
  17. The Alterra mountain company owns 12 of the resorts and then they got 14 other resorts to hop on board. I imagine deals are worked out with different resorts based on how much the passes are used at various resorts. The goal is to increase skier attendance. As most resorts have very high fixed expenses bringing more people to their resorts is a huge plus even if they are only getting a small percentage of what a daily ticket price would be. Its somewhat similar to the Max pass...
  18. Barb said it was good beginning April 9th or so.
  19. If you didn't end up getting hurt they'd still be calling you an idiot. We don't want you dying TP4..imagine how boring PASR would be without you.
  20. Yup those are the kind of hotels I like. I usually stay at the Hyatt place at the Denver airport my last night..great free breakfast and across the street from a pizzeria uno, Outback Steakhouse, Asian restaurant and Mexican restaurant.
  21. No planning needed..booked airfare the other day and will wait a little to book rental car as rates are variable and are often the lowest a few weeks out. I'll probably stay at the silver inn again in silverthorne. It was something like $85-90 a night and it's a couple hundred yard walk to an Irish pub that has corned beer nachos and double jack and cokes for under $9 each.
  22. I already said you were a dumbass for going out of bounds with no Avy gear and no knowledge of the terrain. I don't need to say it again. I would say that to anybody, not just you...
  23. And JH is best suited for advanced and expert skiers who have a brain. I like steep terrain and tree skiing..I'm not a fan of exposure so stay away from cliff areas and I have no avalanche gear or training so I don't cross the gates into out of bounds areas that are not patrolled, controlled or marked. Most of the terrain i ski at JH is single black diamond terrain...too steep and difficult for the herbs but often overlooked by the hardcore locals..that's why I'm able to rack up so much untracked on pow days
