Hey All, I'm back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot around 525pm and matt edge and atomic jeff were already in the house. I fixed some loose screws and was out on the snow. Had a perpetual IPA the quad ride up in the mid 50s temperatures. First run barneys bumps which were pretty nice to lower Main Street which was variable from nice spring snow to crud to harpack. We were then joined by zach who gave me a bells two hearted lift beer..didn't go down as easily as the Perpetual but I finished it before the garbage can. We did sidewinder which was nice spring snow until the last section which was pretty rough and the falls was spicy. One run while passing lazy mile on the six pack a snowball whizzed right by my head..I figured there would be some drama but after going down a lightning fast lazy the perpetrators were gone. Skied chute as well which was glacial ice..on another lazy run sparks were flying off zacks skis..we were then joined by Johnny law and a few runs later matt edge was challenged to race a snowboard dude and he almost lost as snowboard dude was at least 20 yards in front of Edge near the bottom of challenge but snowboarder wiped out and slid off the trail right before the falls and Edge got the win!!! Was great to see..challenge was variable AF!!! Around 745PM the radar showed rain over hazleton..and by the top of the lift it was raining..skied two more runs including more barneys and also paradise and had another beer in the lot..peaced out. Considering the temperatures the snow was faster and more winterlike than expected and lift lines were almost non existent a minute at the most despite over 20 buses..JADIP!! amazing that 2.5 hours after this picture was taken it was pouring.

Good: Getting five us in the Kardashian mobile by 720am on day 3..pow pow day when Nastar glenn was so excited he was shaking. Bad: ticket office not open yet and lady gave MBike Mike a hard time because his blue pass didn't have a date on it. Ugly: All the snow stuck to Nastar Glenn's boot and the smell of shit at the top of the Marmot chair...

Did you jump on it? Unlike Eaf, Ski2Live is not a big mountain creek fan.

Well Indiggio would probably wake up around 230am in Jackson hole. Shit I didn't sleep much later than that being on east coast time. The bagel place is about 300 yards from the 49er or about a 3 minute walk. It opens at 630am...I would never leave to go there before 6:27am..often I'd be 50 yards away lights out in Pearl street bagels..30 yards away lights on and 10 yards away door being unlocked. Often there were two or three idling subarus or pickup trucks waiting for bagel place to open. A few times they were sold out of the bacon egg and cheddar on everything bagel by 6:31am. They usually only had four of them in the heated display and dude in front of me would grab two and then I'd grab two..insane in the membrane. Free breakfast at the 49er starts around 645am..

It was a pleasure meeting Dennis that day. A true inspiration. Back when they used to have a locker room at the top of the Bridger gondola Dennis would pay $1500 for a locker which netted him an 830am gondola everyday along with the wallets. He'd have to wait until 9am to start skiing but would have a 12 minute head start ahead of the masses which is just huge...I think he said he had something like 650 early gondolas.

I don't know if Zonked is ever gonna go skiing. I'm saving my buddy pass for her but if she doesn't claim it soon I'll give it to Salty or Phillycore.

The main thing is that it's gonna happen overnight when it's coldest and be all snow..bad thing is that if it mostly falls before 1am it will likely be brutally groomed..still will be interesting to see.

Yeah I do. Sallycat was slacking on the updates but now she's all caught up..the best is when Toast added his last day at whistler before he even started skiing for the day..that's a bit of a faux pas. Normal people wait until after they're done skiing to update stats not before they even hit the hill. The worst was years ago somebody was going on a four day ski ski trip and added in the four ski days before they even left for their trip..that's the shit I don't like.
