  1. After skiing Camelback you appreciate Blue. Just better runs, longer runs, more vert, better vibe, less flats, no waterpark.
  2. I was kidding. Stowe actually has way better intermediate terrain than Killington.
  3. Killington is a much better mountain for Jerrys than Stowe..next time at Stowe start at the gondola and no hills to walk up. You can park right by the gondola barn. For those of you you unfamiliar with Stowe this is the steep hill Salty had to walk up from the parking lot.

  5. I kind of feel like tonight some pretty Rutland local is gonna make Salty really really happy...
  6. Well a good percentage of Blue skiers take trips out west..Nestors used to sell Pontoons which were 130 underfoot.
  7. He'd have to go straight up 21 jump street to pass for a U19 racer...
  8. I used to always keep boots in my trunk on drive to skiing. Now I keep them on the passenger side floor with heat on my feet...I'll never have a boot bag...only bags I have are luggage and bags from Target, Kohls and Buckmans.
  9. Oh Lordy I didn't even know they made manuals anymore. You're either cheap or a driving enthusiast. STFU GrilledPanini you've never driven stick shift and didn't learn how to use a screwdriver until you were 25. Keep selling overpriced rocks to grieving old ladies you wanker
  10. You can dry out boots on a hotel room heating vent without removing the liners. Prop boots on a chair with the opening angeled onto the heat vent. Should be dry in an hour or so. The only time this season I couldn't put boots on was one of those 15 degree days when my boots were sitting in my open trunk for an hour and a half and then I decided to go back skiing again and it was unpossible to put them back on. You could always put boots on in your hotel room and drive the couple miles in your ski boots. It's not that hard. I've driven from Blue to Allentown in my ski boots.
  11. Ski patrol sled training on challenge at 806AM is redonkulous...glad you had fun!!!
  12. Here's an idea..ski 8am-noon Saturday then sell your ticket in the lot for Johnny cash. Don't be greedy just sell it for $20-30..can use money for mcdoogles on the ride home. Sunday is gonna be a washout so can have your mom do your laundry and play Tetris and Mario Kart!! Maybe whip out your fake ID and buy Indiggio and Tarponhead 5 packs of beer for their bump skiing advice.
  13. That boot kicking tip will help Salty avoid yard sailing the next time he has to walk up a 40 vertical foot hill at Stowe from the parking lot to the Forerunner quad. Thanks for that!!
  14. There's a pretty large gap between the top women's freeskiers and men's freeskiers.
  15. Top three men in the Kings of Corbett comp. Top three women.
  16. I've heard good things about Vandsterdam..I only went from the airport to whistler and back to the airport when I visited in 1999 with my Dad.
  17. I thought people love Oregon. Mountains, ocean, legal weed...you ever see Portlandia?? Near year round skiing on Mount Hood..
  18. No read it all and savor it!!! This thread is near hall of fame worthy.
  19. No stupid cold in the forecast although will be chilly tomorrow AM at Blue.
  20. Salty are you driving home from Vermont tomorrow or Saturday??
  21. The forecast is saying the rain will hold off until after 4pm Saturday. Sunday says rain heavy at times...
  22. Salty might get faceshots after all!!!
  23. I'd sell you my Shiros cause I'm getting new pow skis next season but they're 193s..I had first generation pow skis Nordica blowers several years back that were not rockered and 110 underfoot and I thought they were decent until I saw Atomic Jeff and my Montana friend Tom effortlessly ski through chop on Shiros and Super 7's respectively..My shiros are 119 underfoot and great in anything but solid ice and tight bumps..I'd rather ski groomers on my shiros than powder on my mantras. Pow skis have nothing to do with skiing style they're just another Tool..when it's a groomer day out west the RTMs will be sick..
  24. I wonder what the Chefs special sauce is???
