  1. Nice advice but Salty needs to boot up in the lodge in case he accidentally steps in snow in his socks...not everybody has the luxury of having circa 1980s lawn furniture to use to boot up in like Nastar Glenn.
  2. Wow that sounds fancy..you don't ever have to eat fast food with your per diem and as you get older fast food should be seen more as a treat than daily eating. I've cut back my Arby's to like once a month..Arby's is elite fast food thought.
  3. You'll have the ability one day if you keep skiing a lot. No such thing as unlimited deep powder in the woods..it gets tracked out..I prefer being the one tracking it out. Did you stop at Ben and Jerrys?? Are you settled in at Killington now??
  4. Powder skis are generally cheaper than RTM type skis. If you live out west you're gonna want powder skis..actually not even live out west just ski out west.
  5. You'll want powder skis for the powder days and the chop later in a pow day/day after. Unless it's a huge freaking snowy winter 75-80%+ of your ski days out west you'll be fine without powder skis but for the big days they excel and even a day like yesterday at Blue.
  6. Nope I have lots of female friends and have met girls through them. Plus when you hangout with all guys it smells like a fart.
  7. I don't understand that. If I'm interested in a girl I get her number and then text her so she has my number. Inevitably some of the young ladies with my number end up calling or texting me for things like rides or to vent about their ex boyfriends beating them..then I become like Dr. phil and get relegated to the friend zone
  8. Post what you want in whatever forum you want to post in. Don't let the sandy vaginas and wet blankets bring you down. This forum is about fun
  9. I barely give my number to anybody!!
  10. Time for some bre bre bre breweries. How stoked is Ryan????
  11. Salty you know what they say,"ski good or eat wood" you can ask PARidge about that..
  12. It's three days out anything can happen. Best case is it pours overnight and clears up at dawn..I can deal with skiing in showers no big deal.
  13. Nice report. Did you use your season pass for a 10% discount on cookie and Powerade??
  14. Wow just saw the forecast for Saturday high of 45 for the LV..comfortable weather. I'm hoping I wake up Sunday and the radar is clear.
  15. Good mayo is gross. They brought me the wrong burger at the mangy moose last week and it was loaded with mayo..was a $17 burger and I sent it immediately back.
  16. I'm not in good shape but I have a high threshold for pain..everyday at Jackson hole to get from bus to gondola you walk 300 yards uphill on snow or pavement in ski boots. I don't love it but I just do it..
  17. Salty and don't mind people's comments. I like reading your reports. They're unique and shows me how different others are. Me personally I'd probably already be in Killington by now and wouldn't have messed with spruce or toll house..or gone in the lodge for chicken wrap or coffee. Would have prob just skied ten forerunner laps and maybe 3-4 off gondy by noon and bounced stopping at Cabot creamery on the way and perhaps a hoagie at the Moscow general store if it's still there.
  18. Ehramagerd I thought you and JFDern were pals. I doubt he has you on ignore. He just doesn't post that often.
  19. I've walked up the hill 99% of the time I skied stowe..I'd try to park right along the snow so I could ski back to my car..
  20. Sally and Root and Shadows and JFDan and Indiggio this is great pure gold!!!
  21. #1 being the hill from the parking lot to the quad lift..you put one foot in front of the other..dig your toes in a little for extra grip.
  22. Hey easy Salty rode 4700 miles on his road bike in 2017. 5) got snow in his ski boots because he can't stand on one foot booting up. I don't remember seeing #1...
