not past tense at all. It was JibLab before, during, and after the Parklogic fiasco at JFBB. Those guys know how to make rails and setup things better than anyone else. Boulder still has good setups, but I don't have much faith in their ability to build new rails. I haven't seen much for this year except a flat rail and a concrete ledge that was "new". They never really posted pictures and stuff like Jiblab does. We'll see once the season pans out but right now Boulder is just the stuff the JibLab guys made for them as far as I can tell. Bear makes good stuff, but they don't have enough snow to be as creative as the mountain creek guys. I'm definately looking forward to see what happens. Mountain Creek is a monster, it takes a while to get rolling but come mid february their park will destroy everything in PA. It is just too late in the year to work out for my season (Dec 15 - Feb 15) most years, but this year it probably would. Hopefully they will turn it around. And all the bitching you hear about the changes - look at the people at creek. They are either noobies on Horizon all day at vernon, or park riders, with 10% of the customers being good skiers. The 3 new trails open on vernon are intermediate, perfect to take the load off horizon. South will keep all the park guys off the lift on Vernon which is packed with beginners. The guys who are good show up 8-12 on the weekends anyway and jet by lunch, hit up granite, vernon, a little of bear and they're done there won't be any park guys awake yet anyway. It should be good.

I'd go with the right click save as method it is a big file. I liked it, I'd rather have a short video of good clips like that one than a long video starving for shots. I appreciate the speed of your riding, a lot of times you see videos and its all slow ass jibs, you guys hit stuff a lot faster which opens up a lot of different stuff other people aren't doing. I like having good quality too instead of youtube. I think vimeo is a bit better than youtube, and there is another one called snowvision has anyone tried that other than the jiblab guys? I don't know where you are hosting it but 40 megs to a bunch of people can get expensive real quick.

I would say soft - average for the park. I have a pair of stiff boots and they aren't great for park. When you land and want to break your fall by bending your knees it just doesn't happen. As for 32 boots, everyone swears by them but I don't get it. I've tried on every model and they feel so weird. For some people they have great shape, but for others they don't work at all. They are lighter than the rest by a large margin though. I wish they fit me well.

I have burton gloves, burton mittens, head gloves, and dakine mittens. They are lamest to best in that order. The funny thing is the head & dakine ones cost 1/2 of the burton ones. I have burton pipe gloves I love though, so that makes up for it.

Exactly - there is no college rate at JFBB anymore. Kind of lame, I was counting on that for my friend when I got my pass there but w/e I'll just go to camelback with them for a change and hit JFBB on my own. -
nice, and a few years after that you can teach the kid too. Start them young you'll end up with another shaun white

Saw this on alpine zone: I'm not suprised by the lack of snow being made yet, that usually comes later. But removing the guns? Does he not know what he is talking about or is there truth to that? Also Mountain Creek is not having the Grand Prix this year, Killington is, and that is always what got them to get it open. I was wondering what would become of the pipe with the rest of the park going to South, but I would be suprised if they had removed the guns already. Anyone been up there and looked.

Awesome. I remember when I was a little kid at Craigmere in NJ (gone now, but about the size of little boulder and tannebaum and nothing else) it seemed so big and steep compared to me. Then when I was 6 or 7 and i hit Shawnee mountain, oh man it was the big time to take the quad up to the top. As a kid it is so fun to ski because you are actually in control of something for once. Sure your parents tell you what trail to do, but when you are on that trail you can do it however you want, its one of the first things I did as a kid that was like that.

Ha it is better than some of the patches I've seen in videos. If you have a bunch of boards you can just set one aside from crap like that. I have one where it is a stone ground base with super polished edges and flouro wax and it never touches anything less than fresh powder or morning corduroy mid winter, never even seen the entrance to the park, and then one I barely wax and I took an angle grinder to the edges so they are rounded off and has core shots with unshaven epoxy on it for the park. You just can't care about the board if you are jibbing on it because it will get trashed. Scratches are the least of the worries.

just wanted to point out for the college kids with no class the next few weeks cuz of finals: lift tickets midweek for college kids at at Mountain Creek at $49 at JFBB $40 at Camelback $33 at Blue $32 Might be a good time to hit camelback with their high speed, you are going to get a lot more runs than anywhere else for a lot less money. All those prices require student ID. -
I've never gone snowtubing I was thinking about trying to for the first time. I'm just not sure if I'll be able to, the learning curve looks really intense.

Well it matters for 3 things on the east coast, rock coverage, length of season, and how deep they can groom. If it is really thing they can't push snow around with the same flexibility to groom as they would if it was deep. We really only need like 6" to ski on it, but they put down 4 feet for grooming and in case it warms up. Oh and I'm glad they post on here. I rip a bit but I still plan to go up and bring people with me so I'll keep watching and the reports say everything is open I'll start buying tickets.

The funniest part of this is I'm the only one who agrees with poop about the rotating 90 thing. Look at one of the other video threads I pointed it out in a video too, if you are landing 90 it is the same as falling. But on the other hand the kid put it up for free and its still fun to watch to so lay off. My problem is with him pulling the 1st amendment card which pisses me off to no end when people pull that crap. And as for dropping the TV/radio thing, its just trying to show that I didn't google this shit up its part of my view on America, through the lense of knowing the constitution. Look up the rush limbaugh show daily listeners, it should be on the order of 10 million listeners at a time, largest radio show in the world, I spent about an hour with them and several times on the Fox News. It was only 15 minutes of fame but who cares, when you get a letter from Texas that says if I ever met you in person I'd shove my shotgun up your ass and kill you, then you know you are doing something right.I certaintly don't need to prove anything to you guys so whatever. I really don't like to talk about it because it kind of defined me in high school to every kid that didn't know me before hand. At college i haven't really told anyone because it does sound like bragging but all I was saying here was that I know this stuff cold I don't need to google it. Thanks Glenn, I haven't gotten word on whats up this morning but I'm going to have to go back to school for finals until he passes, but I would expect a funeral this week.

I got it on the 12th time jeez, but now my girlfriend and I both have them so we're tacking a day to Stratton on to the end of our vermont trip. Shes been there a bajillion times with her family so it wasn't worth buying a ticket but I've never been there and its free so what the hell right?

Oh wow you took american government? I'm so impressed. Especially since you forgot the basic tenant of it. Yea I googled that up? All of american government summarized in 3 sentences? Lets put it this way America to me is practically religion, and the constitution is my second set of commandments. Lets just skip over the 5 on the AP US Gov exam, thats cake. There is a reason I got on national TV, national radio, and public speaking experiences in high school for my command of US Gov policy. I'm sure it would bore you to tears, because once again, your name is poop for god sakes. I really believe I'm arguing with a guy named poop, but I am. So don't flatter yourself and think that I looked up ANYTHING to correct you with. But you sir, are an idiot, and I can't stand for such mis-information. And if you really want to feel like an asshole, the reason I'm not out partying tonight is because my parents called me early this morning and I drove my all the way home because my grandfather got was taken on to the hospital and put on life support, and in all likely hood is going to die tonight so I'm sitting here trying to escape it. so fuck you and all the people in this country who lack any understanding of what this country is about, how it is run, and what the laws are. this is how it gets run into the ground, and if you ever want to find a place where it is run like shit, spend a day in a hospital

The park at JF was way under rated last year. It was always pretty empty even though boulder was packed with people, and it had great flow. I might go so far as to say I liked it better, only because there where no people hiking boxes and stuff, it was just one long line top to bottom. It fell in a nice range of size, about the size of the stuff on merry widow.

Bro you are a FUCKING MORON. My god, at least someone spelled it out for you nicely. But I won't. The 1st amendment doesn't cover your stupid ranting on the internet. I mean I know you named yourself "poop" so how intelligent can you be, but federalism is a basic concept of America. If you are going to try and invoke your freedoms, at least understand them. How dare you tell US to get out of "your" country when you don't even understand your own government. Here is the cliff notes version for when you weren't listening in school (or are you too young to have gotten to american history yet?) The federal government can't do anything without consent from the people, as spelled out by the constitution. The 1st amendment says the federal government (Congress shall pass no law) to restrict bla bla States added their own amendments that match the federal government, this is called incorporation, but it is not the consitution that protects you - until the equal protection clause changed all that in the 1870s - that is way above what you need to know. Bottom line, states you are protected too. PASR is way below that, they are a private incorporated entity, meaning they can do what they want. This is why yacht clubs can exclude black people, places that are not for "public accommodation" (hotels and restaurants) can make rules as they see fit. The constitution doesn't cover you if a company says you have can't say things in their business. This is always why you don't have all your rights at school. So PASR can do whatever the hell they want. And since Glenn is an admin here - shut the fuck up. I agree with you on the 90 degree landings aren't landing it - but it is a 3 day edit. Its not like he spent a season getting shots together. If mack dawg put out a movie with 90 landings all day i'd be mad, but its a bunch of friends having fun. And as for the filming, some people just like to make movies as a hobby. When I used to film we would make movies, and we sucked, but it was 8 hours of fun on the hill and then bring it home and spend the night editing shots and then watch it, that was half the fun. We never released them but its a hobby. So yea if you put the camera away you get better, but its about you have fun unless you are trying to go pro.

$500 an hour for SETUP, not maintenance. Maintenance is what $30 hour with 3 guys making $10 each? But for setup you have 2 cats running, burning fuel at $3 a gallon. You have two cat drivers who make a lot more than $10 each, and a bunch of guys helping out to setup stuff with hand tools.
