It doesn't affect me at all. Just seems like there's always road construction going on at any time. It's easy to fall behind on that stuff when the weather hasn't been favorable to them.
-
You're right. I was in a generous mood at the moment.
-
Of 2017 right? It's pa, we never end construction
-
Facebook. And he's even quiet on there.
-
No, no need to either. Let them blast the mountain with snow before they change it up., it'll be worth it. Cascade will be built Wednesday into Thursday I believe and them black bear will be closed Thursday for a build. I'll let tom clarify that because I could be wrong.

Today/tonight was real fun. Snow was soft and fast. Park rode nice. When I was leaving at 8:30 they were turning the guns on. They should have enough snow to outlast this weekends spring blast.
-
Trails end is a little more reasonable with some better food. Tuna melt for only like $7
-
No we never hit over 7 inches. And crowds are non existent for a Sunday
-
They counted fresh+blower probably. I live 8 miles away and got around 4 inches.
-
Bear is claiming 7". I think they measured with the wrong ruler.
-
If I was in whistler and they got 8 feet of fresh, the last thing going through my mind would be getting powder action shots.
-
Got about 1-1/2" in Kutztown right now. Just enough to make people drive like idiots
-
I do. In all honesty I looked at it quickly and thought he was serious. Should slap myself in the face for that one. He can troll the bear creek forums all he wants but the second you go into blue and post something that's not directly blue related he gets his panties in a bundle about cunting up threads

Tom, the park manager. He's skierthomas on here.
-
Tom, any plans to set up the propane tank as a double hit again like you had last year? That was one of the more fun features at the end of the season
-
Snow was awesome tonight. A little hard at first but after it got chewed up it was nice. Pretty fast. Same park setup as opening. They're really pounding the mountain with snow right now. It's a good possibility to be close to 100% by the weekend. Sorry Doug no cheese fry report.
-
At least they're offering discounted tickets today and tomorrow.
-
This. I'm not a blue fanboy by any means but frost is so much better enjoyed when it's 100% open especially if it's only a day trip.
-
Meant to say Kutztown, berks county.
-
No snow in berks county.
-
If you don't really care about poles just get someone to snag you a pair of rentals from bc and just never return them
-
Yes it does. You can always find a way to enjoy it. skiing is what you make of it. I would rather ride bear creek and have fun with my friends than to not ride at all. Quite frankly I could care less about vert or crowds or how many runs I can get in as long as I'm out there with my friends having fun that's all that matters.

2 years ago after an overnight storm I was at guest services at bear to get a replacement pass because my season pass wouldn't scan and there was a lady there saying she wanted to talk to a manager because she thought it was absolutely rediculous that they didn't groom out the fresh fallen snow.
-
Good plan on their part. Conserve the snow. Also saves them money. If it's going to be pouring rain out no ones going to go so why have to pay the lifties and whomever else to just stand there.

Park and snow rode awesome tonight.
