I hate to see a ski area die but how does sno keeping making these fiscal/managerial mistakes? They really need someone to come in/ take over, and clean house.

Yes you still have to buy a 30 dollar meal but for someone like guitar, who has a significant other, they can go out to a nice dinner with only spending 30 dollars instead of 60.

Serious question Doug but how long is the sun on blue? I believe it's on bear for a majority of the day since bear faces east. This causes the snow to melt alot quicker.

Depends on ticket price. Not too sure what blues "discounted" tickets run but I'm a broke college kid so I can't afford 45 dollars for 6 trails or whatever they'll have

Can we just let the guy sell his stuff? Who cares what he asked for them? He can ask whatever he wants that doesn't mean he's going to get it. Just let him try and sell it.

Yes and blue is also more geared towards opening quick as they don't have a hotel and resort to fall back on. Bear is like a second home to me but in the past couple seasons their push to get open has been somewhat lackluster. I know there are many factors that play a part in opening it just seems like it creeps up on them way to quick or their minds are in other places. I could honestly care less when they open as long as the weather doesn't do what it did last year and we don't have anything open until January. I want to ride as much as the next guy but not if its going to be a death ribbon with 5000 people on it.

They should've been blowing last night and as much as possible today and the next couple nights. Even if you don't open get some piles down so you're not too far behind come Tuesday when the temps return. Edit: let me re phrase that before a flame war starts. The humidity is too high right now to blow but they could have blown the past couple of nights

They're "testing" the guns. Honestly the way bear creek runs they won't blow too much because its supposed to be warm at the end of the week. It would be nice if we got 3 inches tomorrow and then they could put down a decent amount on top of that in man made and possibly have enough to make it through the weekend to where the temp drops back down. But we all know how bear creek works.
