The hippies are out in their drug rugs on campus today. Pretty chilly this morning when I left for class.

They have an actual ski and snowboard class. It's 1 credit. It's 120 for the class and you get like 10 tickets to blue I think? It's an hour of instruction, if you need it, then the rest is free time.

Not a longshot at all. I know phillycore is into mustang and I'm sure he has friends that would have been looking to buy them. But they're sold. Lock it up before gss kills more of our brain cells with his posts.

You're talking to a college kid Doug, I'm pretty sure I've had the worst tasting beer that you can have. Nothing like 12 bucks for a 30 of gennese.

Legally, no. Not till October 23rd.
-
Saurus I owe you a beer or two for this. Thanks again man. This helps out a lot of people.

doug you are getting trolled hard by one of the moderators.

I'm set on the big ticket items this year except for bindings, I could probably stretch another year out of them but I'm on the fence about chancing that or not.
-
the pre season sales emails are starting to be distributed, not to mention the countless teasers that have been released in the past month.
-
so does your wife, and she does a pretty damn fine job at it.
-
i think you need a time out, and spell check.
-
neither do you doug. and that is extremely hypocritical to accuse ride delaware of trolling when about 95% or your posts are trolling. at least he's put positive input into this thread.

I'm pretty sure in either 09/10 season or 10/11 season we had 3 straight weekend storms bringing upwards of 12" each. thats pretty epic for eastern PA

it was 2010/2011 season because i remember you bringing it up on here. The top two light towers on black bear had two lights that pointed in almost the exact same spot leaving the landing of the first jump in a dark spot, you mentioned it on here and i remember within a week they moved the light so it would illuminate the landing of the jump.

I would say their parks are decent. Its really hit or miss on the weather and how much snow they can get down. Two years ago their park was on point almost the entire season. Definitely one of the better parks in the mid atlantic that year. Last year was a different story though, the park kind of lacked for obvious reasons, bear was unable to put down as much snow as the previous year so it took a huge running start for the parks to get to mid season form. Although they were not perfect last year bear did as much as possible to keep their parks up to par. So it all comes down to the weather. I've had a pass at bear for the past 4 years or so and i havent had many complaints about the park yet. i'd suggest getting a pass there if youre just going to ride park, plus you cant beat the price on the pasr discount, unless you can get a shop pass. this will give you a good idea of what bears park was like last year,
-
I believe passholders get some sort of discount in the tune shop and the retail shop, although that will still break the bank. Bringing the price of a 90 dollar hoodie down to 87 isnt really taking care of your passholders. Bear does try to do a season passholder appreciation day which includes discounts on items and giveaways and all that sugar coated PR stuff, but thats been cancelled the past couple of years i believe. In the long run is it going to kill bear creek to give people, who are spending upwards of $400 dollars BEFORE the season starts, a 10-15% discount on food? probably not, the money they'll "lose" will easily be made up on a friday night with the massive amounts of school kids that come in on a bus with mom and dads money and buy outrageous amounts of food.

i meant to say deka factory in my last post. my iphone decided to auto correct it to deja. as for a time reference to anyone, the tavern in about 12 miles from bear. google maps say it takes 30 minutes, conservative driving could probably make it there in 20, i made it to bear in about 15 when i was up at school.
-
Ever been to the kutztown tavern? I'm not of age to drink but I went to lunch there with my dad during school and he spoke very highly of their beer selection. Fairly close to bear as well. Make a left out of bear creek, follow that road out basically to the d

you're very optimistic with that november 9th opening haha.

Since we're now on the topic of food, season pass holder discount on stuff would be great. Even if it is 5%. They make enough money off the ticket buyers and weekend warrior that they can afford to give us pass holders a little bit of money off our food purchase. I believe blue jfbb and camelback do this? I could be wrong though.
