SNOW SPORTS ARE SERIOUS BUSINESS. i didnt know the park at bear was such a bad place? maybe this year i should wear my kevlar vest and carry a knife. i have never had a problem with anyone in the park nor have i seen anything that you just stated above. dicking around? yeah that happens sometimes. its just kids having fun. everyone has their share of problems. if you dont like what is going in "in" or around the park then stay away from it. simple as that.

and us "park types" could only wish that we wouldnt have to worry about landing on a race kid who is skiing down and across the landing of a jump. i dont see "park types" cutting through timberline while the race team is running gates so why should it be okay for the race kids to use the park as a slalom course? oh and the "park type" kids who ran into the race kids were most likey gapers. just because theyre on a snowboard or have twin tips doesnt mean they ride park.

Hopefully they have another lift open by Tuesday. I'm fine with hiking rails but a lift just makes it that much more convenient
