I probably won't even be there at 9. It takes a solid 2 hours without traffic to get to blue from my house. I could leave at 6am and still won't be in the lot until 9.

I'm sure every single person who goes to bear knows blue is better in some respects. But like you said, they chose to buy their pass at bear. Bear is 15 minutes from school for me and that was a major factor between getting a pass there or a pass at blue. I also like bears atmosphere a little better than blue. I guess we'll see in the long run if this pays off for blue or not.

They're going on stangnet, eBay, and Craigslist as well just figured id throw em up here.

I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying haha. I don't see it converting many, if any, bear passholders to blue passholders.

theyre only letting "unlimited" passholders ride blue for free so it wont be that many people. many of the locals have off peaks or weekdays. i doubt bear sells a ton of unlimited season passes. i could be wrong though. i think its a good marketing move on blues part. who cares if theyre losing ticket sales. theyre lucky that theyre even open.

My dad is selling his set of wheels off of his mustang. theyre 17inch "bullit" style wheels. gun metal center with polished lip. comes with tires, 2 of which need to be replaced. pm for a price. i'll post pictures up of the wheels off the car when i get a chance. its a longshot trying to sell them on here but why the hell not. here's what they look like. i'll get actual pictures of the wheels in the next couple days.

thanks for the effort. no sarcasm at all. you guys are under the gun either way. people bitched (including me) about the snowmaking and then when bear takes a huge step out on a limb to get something open and the weather in turn fucks them over then they bitch about it. i think what bear tried to do was extremely customer oriented and was a real classy move. props to bear creek for trying to get something open to get people their fix. what comes around goes aroumd. hopefully the temps drop this weekend and bear can get down to business next week.

Springs is on the complete opposite side of the state and in a different climate.

comparing bear to boulder or any place in the pocs is like oil to water. it just wont happen. its been too warm down here lately. did they miss out on some chances to blow? yes. is there anything we can do about it? no. bear is doing the right thing by not announcing an opening date yet. if they say theyre gonna open monday and they dont then shit is gonna hit the fan worse then it is right now.
