I agree/disagree with that, helmets do protect you alot, yes people think.they are invincible with a helmet but think of.how many concussions a helmet prevents. Plus had.this ski patroller not been wearing a helmet he could have died.on impact. Although they do bring a false sense of security thehre not 100% safe.

To my defense, like I said before, I've never been out west and have no idea what ticket prices are in colorado/Utah/ Montana, therefore I thought that was a good deal considering most places in Vermont are that expensive for 4 or 5 days with less terrain. Just an assumption. Sorry if I made myself look like an idiot haha.

Glenn, if you're talking about balance boards as training they are easy to make. I remember one of the coaches for my high school hockey team made some out of a small split tree and a small board. Fairly cheap and easy training device rather then spending money on a balance board. Just a thought.

They're not making money anymore with ticket sales. I mean honestly, how many people were at bear last week who weren't passholders, maybe 500(wild guess). Although I don't like them closing I can see from a business standpoint of why they did. It's all about the money, not the dedicated patrons who are there almost everyday.

IF theyre open till the 27th, yes. If not, no. its easily a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive for me so its not worth it unless I can go for a full day, which isnt happening this week.
