Light and fluffy here in SEPA, unsure on totals due to the wind. One part of my yard has 8 inches and the other is 1 inch.

Not surprising. We talked about this in the blue thread in regards to them making nightmare/dreamweaver into a park. I think the surrounding resorts are seeing the train wreck that’s a Vail owned JFBB and jumping on the opportunity to showcase what they’ve got to try and reel in some extra sales. bear’s park has always been decent. Once Tom left for beaver creek it struggled for a year or so but it’s gradually been making its way back. They’re limited by management on what they can build which is why the tubing jump line has been sub 40 footers the last few seasons.

3 runs in a 3 hour period and 25 minute lift lines? I’m not good at math but.....

Looks good fellas

No

Nah y’all keep that storm up there, I don’t feel like shoveling.

Then you should be fine, I’m not sure if warnings would show up on there though.
-
At least I think I do

Yup.

For those of you who think you might have gotten hit by those traffic cameras recently, you can download PA E DOCKET from the App Store and search by your name and birthday to see if there are any open cases against you and if you should be expecting a citation in the mail. edit: this is assuming a traffic camera citation would show up there

Yes but it’s not a Ferrari badge. Lift lines and conditions didn’t bother me one bit tonight. Could’ve been a complete shitshow and I wouldve been fine with it. Obviously I don’t get out as much as I used to so any time I get to get out is a bonus.

They’re parked in the construction zones, almost looks like a survey vehicle. Ben’s post hit the nail on the head, maybe another radar dome or two on it. That would be it..... I was in a pack of cars and we were all moving 65 through the construction zone (my fault, I know). Didn’t notice it until the last second and had a sleeper cab behind me so didn’t hit the brakes. I like the bed of my truck the length it is now and not any shorter 😂.

Oh, and didn’t see any PASR’s, but there was a blue Volvo SUV with NJ plates in the PASR overflow row..... root?

Skied at blue today, resetting the “why don’t you ski for once” insult from Doug for another 3 days. Arrived in the lower lot around 3:30 after a quick stop at buckmans to see if I could find a replacement for my pants that are on their way out. 3 tour busses coming up the hill with NY plates, wasn’t sure if this was a good or bad sign. Lower lot was probably about 40% full, lots of people meandering in the lot so tough to tell if coming or going. Booted up, headed to the 6pack for the first runs of the season. Line was 3 people deep from the scanners but moving relatively well (I think). 3 minutes from skis on to the chair. Not bad. First run was down sidewinder, top section was soft and surprisingly smooth for 4pm. Lower two sections were a mixture of cookies and piles of sugar. Made things interesting to navigate them as well as the multi family yard sale that was taking place. Back up the 6 and took a run down lazy. I must’ve been in the perfect rotation because I only saw 1 other person on it until the end of the trail. Lazy was good, soft snow, some sugar piles but nothing bad, no ice spots, fun little side hits, etc. next few runs in order were paradise, sidewinder again, challenge, over to come around-midway, Main Street, and another paradise run to end the night. challenege was good up top. Hit a patch of boiler plate/ice halfway down and did a sweet 540 laying on my side. back to the lot around 730 or so, stuck around for a beer with my buddies and hit the road around 8 and made great time getting home. Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos. I actually turned my phone on airplane mode so it was music only and just cruised all night. They were blowing snow on a random assortment of trails as sell as 2 guns blowing directly into the glade area on lazy (?) so tomorrow morning should be $$$$ for those of you going. my legs hurt. I’m out of shape. But I was able to ski without my knee brace and no discomfort today which is a win in my book. I’ll be back for a sausage Sunday at some point this season. This was also the first time in 10+ years I’ve been skiing/snowboarding and not hit the park one time. TR for Eaf: there was more than 20 people there. Lifts were going up with 2 people. There was sugar piles, it was cloudy and no classic Blue sunset.

Not the first, won’t be the last. I already had a turnpike traffic citation, not sure if that would cancel out the warning or not. MacArthur road being 1 lane from the mall to pretty much buckmans on the other hand.... that sucks
-
Hopefully I didn’t just find out the hard way
-
Are those white Jeep’s on the turnpikes speed cameras?

im hoping for the same. Give me a shout if you see me in the park or lifteline, i'll be wearing this jacket. -
University of Delaware requires them while in the rink, but not on the ice surface. I’m expecting that to change before our season starts back up

The non-refundable reservations are to keep people from going in and reserving every possible weekend and holiday they can, and then not using said reservation. It sucks, but it’s life now. It happened at the one golf course I played at this summer and after the first 3 weeks of it they made you pay in full, non refundable, for your tee time in advance

It’s called a wicket. For YEARS I thought it was just a slang term my dad and grandfather (when they still skied) made up. It wasn’t until I was 16 or 17 that I heard a ticket window employee at Jack Frost remind me to grab a wicket that I learned that it wasn’t slang.
