Wow looks like @eaf and @saltyant missed out!

I just got off of the phone with the guy who does all of Blue’s finances and he told me if they open tomorrow and operate at a loss they’ll have to close permanently.

I didn’t have one last year, I was buying tickets or skiing bear creek via ski patrol vouchers. I didn’t buy a pass this year because there was uncertainty with my job and if I was going to be relocated or not.
-
I don’t have a pass either, but I’ve also just accepted the fact that if I want to ski this year, anywhere, it’s going to be expensive and it’s going to be a risk weather wise. It is what it is.

It’s fucking Groundhog Day on this board sometimes.

See ya at the Dunkin’ Donuts in Tobyhanna tomorrow!

30 some year old AOC gets one as well

It’s dumb that anyone in government is being vaccinated ahead of healthcare workers

People see 900 billion and immediately divide it by the population to get to the argument “we should be getting this much” without realizing it’s not $900 billion dollars of relief to be distributed to every American.
-
This has been circulating my Facebook feed for most of the day and is starting to make me wonder if people 1: actually read where and how the money is being distributed 2: realize all 328 million people in the US don’t qualify for the stimulus check
-
Half of my team at work is out this entire week on vacation, which is grate considering we just got a huge snow and ice storm

Must be part of BMR to use the trail though

Target is a great place to find single moms

I’m not familiar with the ORDA cards, are they bell only? if not, I can’t really see whoever sells them being responsible for compensation if a mountain makes a decision to block certain days
-
I can make that connection, but I find it hard to believe that 300 people in a Walmart picking things up and putting them back, etc etc etc is any less dangerous than a restaurant at 30% capacity. 90 percent of the people I see in Walmart or the grocery stores (employees included) don’t even have the mask pulled up above their nose.
-
I think he’s talking about card reloads being blocked on weekends and holidays
-
It’s gotta be frustrating as a restaurant owner/worker/etc to go to giant or acme or Walmart and see them absolutely jam fucking packed while simultaneously being told your place of business can’t open unless it’s take out. Walmart/grocery stores don’t seem to be limiting the number of people going in/out

How does this post not have a boner city until now?

I can guarantee you no one is making a counterfeit season pass to save 10% in the cafeteria

Change your clock. It takes 2 seconds

Put the Covid and limited tickets thing aside, if it were a regular year, yesterday would’ve been WAY worse. It has the be expected that a ski area is going to be busy after a big storm. People don’t get that.
