Yup. I’m a pretty quiet person but I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve been a bigger asshole lately because I haven’t had the human interaction that I had before (that I thought I hated). the simple solution is “well, ask your friends to go out with you”, but that doesn’t work for someone like me who feels like I’m putting a burden on someone else just so I can be able to go out to eat. the pandemic is taking a toll on more than just physical health. I think that gets lost a lot of the time (in general).

I get that. Mentally, I’m ready for things to loosen up in PA. Life is a lot different during a pandemic for a single person. A lot of places near me won’t seat a single person at a table for dining. Getting takeout and sitting in your house alone every night isn’t exactly the most fun thing after 7 months of it. It’s frustrating to see tables of up to 6 people eating inside or outside, yet I can’t get one, nor sit at the bar while distanced (easily done) to get food and a beer. I’m just more than ready for things to get back to normal for my own sanity.

My mom cuts them up and pickles them and jars them. We also give some away to our neighbors and what not. That’s equal to about 14 16oz mason jars worth

I went to Pittsburgh for the stadium series game a few years ago against the Flyers, minus a few things that happened in Heinz field (to be expected) the city itself was amazing. Lots of cool places to visit and drink and it’s a very cool place layout wise. I’ve been back multiple times since for weddings and weekend visits to friends in the area, it doesn’t disappoint.

The surf hasn’t been too big, but it has been real choppy and churned up by the wind. There’s been a few guys getting after it each morning though. lots of guys surf fishing but haven’t seen anyone haul anything in yet.

Yeah the resort area has a concrete “boardwalk”. Where I’m staying is way more residential and rental homes with two big condominium complexes on either end of the “island”. Their slogan is “the outer banks without the drive”. The solar farm off the coast is visible on a clear day with a good set of binoculars. Pretty cool to look out and see massive windmills 20-30 miles offshore. also, the free air show every day from NAS Oceana is a plus.

Sandbridge Virginia. We’re the last beach front building until you get to North Carolina.
