  1. I learned German in a very informal way (grandmother is a German immigrant) so that could be correct. to me, it translates to “the thick end is still to come” which doesn’t make as much sense as “the end is still to come”
  2. End is still to come
  3. Still working from home.... probably for good too
  4. I still wear a mask, use hand sanitizer as much as possible, etc etc, but I’ve gotten more and more to the point of trying to resume life as close to normal as possible and so far so good.
  5. My heat doesn’t work. Brand new boiler (January 2020). Cycles water but does not ignite no matter what temp the thermostat is at. Been going back and forth with the company on the warranty. Huge mess.
  6. 42 degrees this morning feels nice and refreshing
  7. I’ll take my chances. Hell sounds like a party
  8. I know someone who doesn’t believe in gravity....
  9. I was going to post that religion is a lie earlier, but yours sounds more believable
  10. I’m wondering if they would base that number off of uphill capacity, maybe? I find it hard to believe they’d be held to indoor capacity, as there are a good amount of people who don’t step foot inside the lodge, but I could be dead wrong.
  11. Outdoor restrictions loosened a bit in regards to limiting gathering size. Good outlook for ski season 2 months in advance. unsure of what blues “capacity” is but I would assume they would fall under one of these two categories • If a venue has a maximum occupancy of over 10,000 people, the allowable outdoor rate is 15% of maximum occupancy up to 7,500 people. Capacity is determined by a venue's established occupancy limit as defined by the National Fire Protection Association's life safety code. • If a venue has a maximum occupancy of 2,001 - 10,000 people, the allowable outdoor rate is 20% of maximum occupancy.
  12. 4 hour ticket this season at peak is $79, 8 hour ticket is $109 peak, sounds like your skiing for free after 5 trips.
  13. Yeah tell me about it, I have Mahomes, Kelce, Derrick Henry, and tyreek hill on my fantasy team. Pretty much had to replace the entire team. luckily we made a rule before the season started that if you had to drop a player due to COVID you have first dibs on getting him back once cleared.
  14. That’s a very philly fan thing to say
  15. I’ve also thought about trying to get a table for “2” and acting like I was waiting for a date to arrive and got stood up...
  16. Isn’t that for dating or is that just a “meet new friends” app? Trust me, I’m thoroughly enjoying being a single guy, just wish more restaurants would more open to seating 1 person vs turning that business away to get a 4-6 person table in there. Money wise is makes sense, but someone like me is going to said establishment 3-4 times a week vs the one every two weeks most families do. Just a weird time in general right now.
  17. It’s kind of a given when you add an additional 13k plus people into a town that you’re going to have an uptick in cases, especially in the 18-28 year old age group.
  18. West Chester just went into a “boro state of emergency” due to increased cases and decreased its “private social gatherings” to 10 people regardless if it’s Inside or outside.
  19. Could’ve gotten promoted or left. I don’t see “social media coordinator” being that high up on the chain of jobs. My buddy did it for Pocono Raceway for a few years right after college before eventually being promoted to somewhere in their marketing department.
  20. You should apply. Then we could get the mad steezey updates yo!
  21. I was speaking in general, not about this board. I find it funny that the side preaching for humans to love each-other is the same side hoping the man dies.
  22. The amount of people hoping he dies from it is pretty disgusting. Love him or hate him you shouldn’t be hoping for another human being to die from a virus.
  23. Shut up
  24. Low hanging fruit
