JF weekends only. BB midweek only? Of course that would require snowmaking at both areas. That’s seems to be the logical option, or maybe closing JF m/t/w, and keeping bb at its regular hours from the past season, 3-9 during the week and 10-10 on the weekends

That’s going to be a good one. One place has the terrain, the other place has the lights. If it comes down to that it will be interesting to see what they do.

Football isn’t going to make it this year. The MLB is having this big of an issue and they had what, 40 man rosters including the taxi squad? No way football makes it work with a 52 man roster and all the trainers, etc etc etc.

There is a very large apartment complex and the mouth of that bridge, as well as a huge business park (where my office is out there) about a 1/4 mile away. Lucky it wasn’t anything explosive, could’ve been catastrophic. Tempe beach park and rio Salado park are also right there as well, both parks can be very crowded at times as well. As bad as it sounds, it really happened in a good spot, any further and things could have turned real bad real fast.

Yup, this seals it. Doing potatoes next year.

What about ski patrol. Wonder how many of those guys would opt out, especially if it’s a lot of volunteers.

These guys in the MLB were supposed to be following strict protocols in regards to where they can go, etc etc. there’s now been 17 marlins players/coaches test positive, a few Phillies staff members who worked in the away clubhouse test positive, lord knows about airport employees, bus drivers, etc etc. it’s not going to take much to spread it in a school. All it’s going to take is that one kid who’s parents went out to a bar Labor Day weekend at the jersey shore to get it, bring it to school on the bus (30 kids), spread it in the classroom (15 kids conservative) and those kids spread it to their parents, who spread it to the workplace (if not telework) etc etc etc. I don’t have kids, let alone married so my opinion may not hold any weight, but I don’t think in person schooling should resume any time in the immediate future.

The whole debacle with the marlins should be the literal example of why children shouldn’t go back to school just yet.

Jimmy Johnson. Also, I believe a crew chief missed a weekend due to being exposed to someone with it, but tested negative twice and was able to return.

A handful of NFL players opted out of this season today after the Marlins situation...more likely than not more will in the coming days. I’m most impressed with the guy from the Chiefs (forget his name) who opted out to put his medical degree to use and work with COVID patients in care centers.

Real good question. The player already have/had an issue with the NFL’s safety protocols for all of this and now they’re watching This happen in baseball, it’ll only make them consider opting out more and more.

14 marlins players/coaches/personnel tested positive, their game tonight got cancelled, team is staying in Philly. Not a good look for the MLB right now. also opened the door for exposure to philly airport employees, hotel staff, CBP staff, etc etc

That was one of my concerns was how deep/shallow to actually plant them and if they would push upwards over time and need to be covered with soil again. Thanks for the info!

My dad got a call this morning his Covid test results came back, all they needed from him was his information, policy number, and social security number. he never got tested anywhere. the scammers are starting to emerge.

Same could be said for indoor/outdoor dining. Do people REALLY need to sit down and eat their food at a restaurant? No. We all lived with takeout for ~2 months. Shut it all back down if that’s what needs to be done.

The coyotes still use that logo as an alternate jersey. The logo looks cool, but the original jersey it was on was absolutely hideous.
