  1. I went out to eat at my local spot tonight. Had to wear a mask until you were seated, they had bar seating however it was only 8 chairs for a bar that normally seats 30 people. You could be in a group of up to 4 at the bar, or 6 at a table but you all had to enter at the same time (I was alone). Wear a mask whenever you leave your seat, don’t mingle with other tables/groups etc. pretty standard stuff. One thing this place did do though was put an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser by every table and behind each “grouping” of seats at the bar. It was a Monday night so it was empty, however I thought their approach to it was pretty well thought out.
  2. I’ve noticed the “at risk” groups seem to be the ones who stopped caring the most, at least around here.
  3. My sister works as a respiratory therapist at Christiania Healthcare in Delaware and she’s been told to expect to work OT in the coming weeks due to increasing cases. Seems like most hospitals around here are preparing early for a “second” wave.
  4. Dude.... tell me about it. First one I’ve missed since I was 6 years old.
  5. I went to a local brew pub last night and although I sat outside in their beer garden, I did notice that they had 1/2 the number of bar stools at the bar that they normally do. Everyone sitting there (except couples) seemed to distance themselves as best they could from others.
  6. 20+ person line to get into the barber shop in town around 7am this morning. At least everyone was 6 feet apart and wearing masks.
  7. Happy last day of yellow
  8. Maybe it will have his face on it
  9. Thanks guys, I was genuinely curious as I haven't come across anyone “close” to me who’s had it.
  10. Has anyone on here had or or personally knew someone who had it? I was thinking about this earlier today, I personally only know 1 person who’s had it, and they live in NYC. Other than that, I don’t know anyone who’s had it.
  11. Yup. My buddy lives in Tampa and used to joke about how we were locked down essentially and they could still go out and do things.... not for long. I feel bad for one of my other friends though, just moved to Miami in January, pandemic hit, got furloughed, came home to PA to ride it out, goes back down to Miami and now they’re getting hit with massive increases in daily cases and likely going to be locked down again.
  12. Best one I saw on Facebook so far was someone calling for the removal of Abraham Lincoln from the $5 bill......for being a slave owner
  13. Kennett Square is closing down a stretch of the main road to allow “outdoor business” starting today at 4pm. It’ll be interesting to see how crowded that gets. Cases in southern chester county have remained low for the most part, but I’m sure we’ll see a spike with everyone going out again and going to the beach, lakes, etc etc.
  14. I think it has to do with the server interacting with a bunch of people vs you interacting with just your table and the server.
  15. I ate outside at a restaurant last night, felt weird for sure.
  16. I don’t think the sign is the dumb one there.
  17. 2581 new cases in FL on Saturday....
  18. I’ve been working virtually writing estimates for cars in California. The amount coming in has tripled 3xs over. It’s been insane. People are getting out more there. edit: good one I had the other day, insured didn’t want to take their car to a shop for inspection due to COVID, but the loss was that they were back into in a municipal parking lot while at Venice Beach.
  19. I’ll take the under
  20. They were shut down today per this article in the observer. I think the issue with it is that they’re charging admission, selling food, etc it would thus disqualify it as being a “protest” https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.newsobserver.com/news/local/article243440916.html
  21. I swear by blue emu. Does the same thing as icy hot with no scent to it.
  22. When NY sponsored a race at Watkins glen called the “I Love New York 355” it cost close to half a mil. Edit: race entitlement can cost up to 2 million depending on the track size and asset mix.
  23. First thing that came to my mind
  24. I saw that, but never looked into it. I enjoyed watching livePD. Gave a good insight into everything crazy that happens in the world on a daily basis.
  25. I know most of you aren’t big nascar fans, but this is cool to see. NASCAR also banned the flying of confederate flags on all properties hosting nascar races, which is HUGE. The sport with arguably the least diverse fan base making big changes. edit: paint scheme is being run on the car tonight at Martinsville
