  1. Probably wanted a platinum too for that price.
  2. Still patchy in some spots, but MASSIVE improvement on what the backyard once was.
  3. This is a great deal, my sister is a respiratory therapist at an ER in Delaware and told me about this. I ended up getting a few things as well as buying her some things as well. Apparently codes are one time use, but you can get them as many times as you want up until the end of the year.
  4. Heard a dog barking at my front door this morning, which was weird considering my dog was sleeping in the bed next to me. Walked out front to find this guy. No tag or collar but SUPER friendly. Threw a leash on him and checked with nearby houses to see if any were his with no luck. Ended up giving him to the boro PD. Luckily the owner was found less than an hour later.
  5. My neighbor plays fart noises via a LOUD Bluetooth speaker (starting to think it’s six cord to a guitar amp) during this time and it cracks me up every single time I hear it
  6. I wonder if they’ll take my 11 pro max on a trade in 😂
  7. Yup, this pales in comparassion to the taxes that were taken out of my bonus two weeks ago. I can’t complain too much though as I’m still working and getting full salary.
  8. Grass seed, and I ordered for curbside pickup, so unsure of how crowded it was inside the store. The parking lot pretty full, but considerably less than normal.
  9. Hey look, the government gave me some of my money back
  10. The amount of bonfires, bbqs, parties, etc that I’ve seen happening via Snapchat recently leaves me no faith on this slowing anytime soon.
  11. I’ve dealt with a few claims this past week where the person has dropped coverages to just liability since they can’t drive the car, then something happens in their driveway, or a branch falls on it, etc and they try to turn in a claim and we end up denying it.
  12. Yes you can.
  13. Have you checked Lowe’s? (Seriously). Paper products have been almost non existent around here however Lowe’s had a TON. For whatever reason, people aren’t thinking of going to a store that sells toilets and full kitchens, to get supplies that correspond directly with those items.
  14. I normally have the curtains closed, but the dog like to sit and look out of the window during the day, keeps her occupied while I’m working.
  15. My new “supervisor” at work likes to be sneaky when she observes
  16. From Delaware, 5 miles. From Maryland, 15-20
  17. Did you just cut the lawn service all together? Or are they not working during this time. I know landscapers are still allowed to work to some extent according to PA.
  18. We have/had a big problem in this area of people driving to Delaware and Maryland to buy liquor since the state stores were closed, it’s probably a mixture of them losing money, and trying to get people to stay the fuck home instead of going to another state for their bottle of whatever
  19. According to my Dad, who is an essential employee and works in DE, They’ve been pulling over out of state tags and inquiring why you’re in Delaware and where you are headed... he got nailed this morning. He showed him the paperwork from his company and the guy let him go. I’d assumed if you don’t have a legitimate reason to be there they’ll just tell you to turn around and go home, and if you’re caught again it’s a fine or something.
  20. Just got a swift moving thunder/hail storm here in chester county.
  21. My roommate is a cop so for the time being we’ve set up what is essentially a “decontamination” station in our garage (detatched) for when he comes home from work, shoes, belt, kevlar vest, etc stay in the garage and get sprayed, everything else gets put into a bag and hand washed immediately, inside of the car gets Lysol wiped down, all computer keys get cleaned, door handles cleaned, etc. it’s about an hour and a half worth of work AFTER someone comes home from a minimum 12 hour shift... and yet people still aren’t taking social distancing seriously
  22. The plus side to being forced to stay home, is all the time I’ve had to help the new dog adjust to her surroundings. She’s not the first rescue dog I’ve had but she has definitely adapted the fastest and seems to like her new living arrangements
  23. It was something along the lines of “the virus can’t survive above 135 degrees, so turn your hairdryer on and point it towards your face and take deeps breathes of hot air” i like your version better though.
  24. They’re right up there with the people that believed the hairdryer thing
  25. Can’t fix stupid. I took the dog for a long walk through the trails at a local park and there were parents letting their kids play on the playground (right behind the sign that specifically says not to) while most of them sat on a nearby picnic table. Luckily, the people on the trails used more common sense and would move to the edge of the trail as you walked by.
