Does anyone know how the online ticket thing works? Is there a kiosk or something I’d pick it up at tomorrow morning or do I still have to stand in the ticket line?

RACK IT!!
-
Looks like Sunday would be the better day to make the trek up there 🤨
-
Yeah, sort of. I’m still not 100% on going, but if I do I know where to find you guys... and I’ll bring beer.
-
See ya Saturday!
-
I also bought a house. Makes sense. Doug compares very well to cartman in terms of shape
-
Shut up Doug

Judging by the dancing wooder ice costume guy I saw yesterday, some are already open
-
Wonder what the cause was, but given the warm weather and how dry everything is this year, I’m going to take a stab at the human element as the cause.
-
I’m also 5’6” 130lbs so they’re the appropriate size for a park ski
-
Soon hopefully. If not this coming weekend, I’ll be there for the end of the year shenanigans

157’s. judging by the 5 girls in robes getting shots at 11am at trails end, I’m going to assume so.

GSS booked his flight for the wrong week.

Well yeah, they announced a month or so ago it was down for the season.

ill Keep this short and sweet. Pulled into the lot at 8:15 and it was 34 degrees. Got my comp ticket, booted up, and up B chair for the first run of the day. Headed over to Sasquatch and took a straight line run down to get the juices flowing. Stayed mostly in the park all day as the new build is pretty fun. They took out the 3 jump line in blackbear due to a comp and just had double option about halfway down the trail. “Big” side of the jump was nice in the morning but got a little awkward as the snow slowed down and the Lip got killed from people rolling over it. Lower blackbear rails are nice and if strung together right, can provide for a nice flow through the lower half of the park. Only took 2 runs through cascade however that setup was fun as well with mostly beginner to intermediate features. Stopped at trails end around 11 for a rest break and a few beers. Grabbed a land shark and an IPA from Big Oyster then headed back out for the last half of the day. Last half of the day was nothing special, just rolled through the park all afternoon messing around. Left at 3pm to a full parking lot. Drove home with the windows down and it felt like the end of March. should be back up March 8th.... if they’re still open.

Oh I believe it. I’m in auto and some of the stuff I see is just mind blowing, I can’t imagine what property is like.

I work in insurance, so I have a pretty good idea. the farmers commercials may seem like a joke, but I’ve actually seen things along those lines happen.

You put wayyyyy to much faith in the general public

It’s really not that bad when you consider the “average” person going skiing a few times of year is likely staying at the Mountain for 7-8 hours, averages out to less than $10 an hour.
-
It makes sense though, $70 for a weekend adult ticket for bear creek is outrageous, people are better off driving the extra 45-hr to blue mountain. If I wasn’t getting “comped” passes I wouldn’t spend that type of money on a weekend.

Arrived in the lot at 8:12, 35ish degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Booted up in the lot and headed inside to get my comp pass. No line at guest services however the guy in front of me was trying to get a refund because “there’s not as much snow as the webcams showed”. Ok dude it rained for 3 days, anyway got my pass and headed up B lift. Off B and took bear trap over and skated up to top of Sasquatch. Speed run down Sasquatch back to B and met up with my patroller buddies. Rinse wash repeat this run for a few times and then we decided to hit the park. Took some park runs until about 11 and then headed into trails end for a beer and some fries. $4 land shark 16oz cans, not bad for a resort. Headed back out at 11:30 and lapped the park for the rest of the day. Minimal crowds, jump line was nice however the snow slowed down after lunch. Park setup is nice given the snow situation. Headed out for the day at 3 and all in all it was a fun day. For Bear Creeks sake, they need cold weather and bad. No bare spots to be seen yesterday, however they won’t make it to March if this current weather pattern keeps up. oh and for you NASTAR guys, they seem to be paying extra attention to timberline this year as that seemed to have a good base to it and was fairly fun/fast yesterday.
