Blue reporting 6” so far on fb.

Well Doug’s daily post count is about to plummet

Back in 3 days for a tune?! I dropped off skis for a remount yesterday (not buckmans) and was told they’ll be ready Tuesday morning. They just called me and said they were done. I’m no expert but mount takes longer than tune.
-
I only butter rolls.
-
Just dropped my skis off to be re-mounted, as I suspected they weren’t mounted true center like I had originally asked for. Blame falls mostly on me for not checking that last year when I picked them up from the shop. Thought I would just give them a shot at that mount point and see what happens, definatley prefer the center mount over “factory”.

Here’s some photos of the Salters Fire @phillycore mentioned. Doesn’t look good.
-
Yup. Posted a link to the story in the “gear” section, wasn’t sure where else to put it.

For those of you that frequent Salters. https://6abc.com/5107686/?utm_campaign=trueAnthem%3A+Trending+Content&utm_content=5c4cd8739ac564000136e50d&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=facebook

Luckily ours rolls over, and we don’t have a “set” amount of vacation per year rather we accrue it per pay period. For example, every pay period I accrue 5.5 hours of pto. It’s a good system, but doesn’t work if you can’t use it. What ends up happening is that people request off for a whole bunch of days and then don’t take them so if you go on and look for a day you need off, it’ll say it’s full and you’ll get denied if you submit for pto that day, then someone (or multiple people) will come in that day and “give back” their time off and it’ll open up which doesn’t help out others who needed off but had to come in due to that day being “full”. Looks good on paper, doesn’t work.

I’m in the same boat at my job, and it sucks. What ends up happening is people take “the day off” then decide they don’t need/want that day and give back their time so certain days go from over capacity to open and you don’t know that until about 9am the day of. The only plus side to it is I’ve racked up close to 200 hours of PTO in my 3 years with the company from the sole fact that I can never get the time off that I want/need.
-
Don’t you love having PTO and the use of it is determined by someone else?
-
Nah, put the mortar tube in a cinderblock and surround with sand and we’re good to go.

https://www.readingeagle.com/news/article/fleetwood-man-kills-ex-girlfriend-himself-in-carbon-county-state-police-say weird press for blue, not sure why it’s relevant that the house is 4 miles north of blue.

Sounds like a great way to get kicked out their last day open of the year. Count me in.
-
About 2 miles. Even from the bottom of the Stevenson? It would be close to the length of the lift at sugarbush that connects Lincoln to mt Ellen
-
That’s oddly specific

Don’t know. I haven’t had these knee problems until last season.
-
Ski. Haven’t touched my snowboard in close to 3 years
-
Thanks for the add on tp4. Wrapped it up for the day, the knee issue is a little bigger than I initially thought. Used a brace and still started to downhill fast. All in all it was a good day. Bear is in surprisingly good shape considering all the rain we had yesterday. Ticket was free so nothing to really complain about.
-
Pulled in the lot at 9:00 on the dot, place was empty. First few runs down Kodiak to knock the rust off. Snow is nice but they blew last night so there’s some patches of glue. Bear has blown sticky snow for the past 4 years now. Not sure what the cause is. Park setup is nice.

Can’t see the lines can ya Russ?
