I've always used dakine, they seem to last a pretty long time.

I wasn't a big fan of steep. At least. Not enough to spend $60 on it. The skiing and snowboarding in it are awesome but the mechanics seemed a little shaky to me. Hopefully the full game was/is better than the beta I played.

Wonder if long haul will run this year

42 degrees and steady rain in SEPA.

Probably because all of the Tom dick and harry's of the world think that if there's no snow in their backyards the mountains aren't open.

If you still have a college ID that doesn't have an expiration date on it, Wednesdays are college day. $25 tickets I think? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

If it wasn't for the free passes and my friends having to patrol that day, I probably would have driven the extra hour somewhere else. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Late post but oh well. Went to bear on Christmas day, empty as expected. On the snow around 830am. Nice snow in the morning, very edgable. Skied till about 230 then had to split to make a Christmas dinner. All in all, fun first day of the year. Timberline was ROD as I surprisingly spent more time there than in the park. Noticed a bunch of the lights were LED's which should be a nice improvement for nighttime skiing. Lift ticket for a weekend or holiday is now $70..... they're out of their minds. Luckily a few of my friends patrol so they give me the vouchers they're comped for their time so I don't pay those ridiculous prices. Beer selection at the bar seemed a little better than last year..... had mad elf on tap which was nice with lunch.

Sorry about your sore feet

Bear has been my home mountain for years, I just bust on them for fun now basically. That is an excellent deal though. I believe they run a special Wednesday nights for nastar, atomicjeff and mbike would be able to confirm that as they went a few times last year.
-
Fun fact, bear Creek once closed when it was snowing due to the threat of rain.

Picked up a pair of armada el-rays today. Went down 3 cm from my surfaces. Got a good deal on them though, now the wait to have the bindings mounted.

Did they ever fix the canyons that formed in the lower lot?

Can you read?

Not like I have been in past years. The broken foot I had in october/half of November really set me back. Any strenuous physical activity just agitates it so I've been reluctant to do anything major like hockey, skiing, etc so it fully heals properly and I don't injure it again.

Hmmmm might have to head up Monday if I can finally get myself in the mood to want to ski

In for the "why not tomorrow" posts on their Facebook.

I hate traffic circles as well.

95 south out of philly where it meets with 476 is usually a shit shown as well, goes from almost 4 lanes to two. That and people can't drive for shit anymore.

I just don't like 78 at all. Every time I've driven on it I've been stuck behind an accident for at least an hour. I think where 78 meets 22 might actually be the gates to hell.
