Ubless our definitions of intermediate features are different there are quite a few of them on black bear.
-
Can anyone give an update on the park if you're up there today? Thanks.
-
It's like riding the lift in Colorado but without the flight!!!
-
I'm not on patrol but I'm first aid/responder certified so I've helped them out a few times with blocking jumps etc. Even helped out a few times there's been collisions and what not when there's two people hurt and only one patroller at the scene. Bear has one of the best patrol groups in nepa as far as I'm concerned. Never had a problem with any of them.

I appreciate it. I usually get their vouchers from patrol but since they only had one night of patrol so far I'm not sure if they'll have one yet. I'm also more tempted to go to jfbb to avoid the crowds
-
I might be up this Sunday, debating on going there or boulder. I don't have a pass anymore so unless I can get a voucher from my ski patrol buddies I'll be heading to boulder. Saturday night is also a possibility.
-
I know of at least one patroller that skis pretty much only park while he's there so he has you covered on that one.
-
You just described 90% of jfbb's visitors

Just an FYI southbound be extension is closed.

I'm not yelling. Just figured since you have little to no reading comprehension that I would make it stick out for you. Hmm... Bear Creek. Never heard of it. Is it that place that almost went bankrupt? That was directed at me since bear was/is my " home" mountain and somehow your manhood magically grows by giving people who ride there shit.

I don't think I would ever buy into a timeshare
-
Boulder doesn't count so I'm going to say yes.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong momskeeztoo but I believe she works at bear.
-
I like how they fixed the entrance off of state road. Used to not be able to get out without hitting subframe in a normal car.
-
Setups fun. Most stuff was super low which I'm not a fan of on skis but I understand why its so low
-
No. They were in a different school district

6 minutes from papasteeze. Drive to bear creek takes about an hour and a half
-
I guess you could say that. I'm down in the corner where pa/MD/de meet.
-
I held out on buying a pass after the slow start, after doing some numbers it would take going almost 20 times to even out. I would definatley use a voucher if you have no one else to give them too and I can't get them from my friends on ski patrol.

Parents house that's no where near philly. 3 hours to Kutztown? You can walk it in that amount of time.
-
100 was closed in 4 seperate spots so I got thrown onto back roads and behind people who drove 5 fucking mph the whole way. New car had no problems on the snow though.
-
I second this. I arrived around 545. Slapped on the new boots, bought a ticket and was on the snow by 6. Snow was soft and fast at first and slowed way down once the squall moved in. Park setup is decent for beginning of the year. Took me almost 3 hours to get home due to various parts of 100 being closed for absolutely no reason at all.
-
Heading up tonight. First day on the new boots so we'll see how it goes.

Take it to the train thread
