  1. I used to drink at bear creek, sober up and drive 20 mins back to Kutztown and I thought that was shitty, couldn't do it on a tw hour trip
  2. They took that measurement from the top of the cell tower on the mountain

Blues season passes aren't pro rated? I know most places have a XX day guarantee and give you a percentage off of nexts years pass for each day they fall short of said number.
  4. If you have a college I'd Monday night is college night. They don't check if you're still in college or not
  5. Holy shit. Bear is 65 weekend all day. Jfbb is like 50something.
  6. Is bear creeks bar really less expensive than blue? I always thought it was way overpriced. Then again, I was a college kid last year and most of the drinking I did was tinnys on the lift or in the parking lot.
  7. That would not be a bad idea actually. Plus it gives me an excuse to break in the new bolts, bindings, and skis
  8. Yeah and I want to get rid of it because I realized how stupid and impractical it is.

With those two guys at the bar......
  10. When I take my car there I usually park all the way in the back when you first come in, because that's as far as I can get.
  11. I went yesterday. Pleasantly surprised with the snow. Crowd built up around 12. Setup was definatley better than it has been previous years. All in all it was a fun day and I can't complain about skiing in November
  12. I'm going to wait until Sunday and let everyone get it out of their system
  13. Yes I am, come may.
  14. I don't see them opening tonight. Friday is more likely if they even decide to open at all.
  15. Yup. It's been awhile.
  16. Both blue and boulder blew last night. Won't be long now.
  17. Headed up to boulder today despite rain being in the forecast. Arrived around 3 to overcast and a few drizzles here and there. Snow was hard pack with a small layer of ice on top. Took a few runs through freedom to warm up. The parks were real nice as always despite the snow being shitty. The jumps on big boulder park are no fucking joke that's for sure. left around 6 or so. Minus the drizzle in the lot on arrival the rain held off. They still have a solid snowpack going so I wouldn't be surprised if they shot deep into April for a closing date. Other than that there's nothing else to really report on. It was late March skiing so no complaints from me
  18. They'll miss out on the ticket sale, but it'll bring me up there a few times and I'll be spending money on beer and food
  19. Mods please delete this, didn't see the thread about it.
  20. Per facebook and instagram, closing March 22nd. Absolute disgrace. One of the coldest late winters we have had and you close early.
  21. I must be thinking of another year then.
