Domestics are like 350 I think. jack and cokes are $8. pretty on par for any bar.
-
Still equal vert though. Had to beat Doug to the punch
-
Truth. There's always spots to be had closer to the lodge.
-
any spot in the front row, haven't parked anywhere else this year. I'm not being serious with that btw.
-
If this cold holds we shouldn't have a problem making it to April this year.
-
Don't take my parking spot.
-
I'm not friends with Doug on facebook. Hoping it stays that way.

I saw a kid with his snowboard bindings backwards the other night at bear (buckles facing inward). Couldn't figure out why his board kept falling off when he got on the lIFt. I told him at the top it's because he's bindings are backwards and his response was " no they aren't my friend who's sponsored put them on" at that point I just nodded my head and rode away.

Setup is all the same. I'm not sure what I would like to see in lower cascade, I just hate seeing it not being utilized. I think if you threw a few small jumps in there with a double option that would be pretty cool.

Rode tonight from 5 till close. Snow stayed pretty nice. Setup was real fun. I'm all for leaving the comp setup there, it's just a little close together which is understandable, but you can make some good lines out of it. First Jump in cascade was nice. Haven't hit the second jump in black bear yet as I'm not that comfortable on skis yet since it's kind of a big one. What's the plan for lower cascade? It hasn't really been utilized at all this year.

That setup...... Fuck. Leave it up After the jam.

You have to expect that on a day where it's bluebird during the day, then gets down in the single digits at night. I didn't think it was too bad at night, a few of the more popular features were scrapped off but other than that there was plenty of good snow to be had.
-
I'm just confused as to how he thought the snow was sketchy at best? I was there from 11am to 3 and then 6 to 9 and it was fantastic. Yes, it got a little hard and crunchy in some spots as night but it was not bad at all.
-
What snow were you riding?
-
One bust, second storm called for over a foot, got a few inches, hopefully this one will call for x amount of snow and we'll get x amount of snow.
-
3rd times a charm, right?
-
I'm 5'5 on a good day, so they wouldn't be too bad for me. And toast, I don't have any kids....I think.
-
Local bar is giving away a pair of 166 lib tech nas' with pbr graphics. Wouldn't be a bad ski to win.

I wasn't complaining, just jamming the friday night crowd down lower cascade/half of lower blackbear is going to be dicey as half those people wouldn't know what in control was if it smacked them in the face, but you also don't want to create twice the work since before and after those features for the comp will get blown out by Tom dick and Harry "airing" off the lip and thus eating shit. Anyway, cascade was like half built last night. It's a fun setup, BUT it was built for snowboarders imo. Superman box is back out. It'd be nice to see the 40 foot rail in blackbear setup as a flat rail like it was last year, or even slightly up.
-
Not a bad idea, it's gonna suck friday Night though with that section being closed.
-
Switching the jam from lower cascade to lower black bear?
-
Sounds too much like chlamydia
-
I'll be up tonight for a little bit. Not sure if I'll be on skis or my board, depends on how icy it is
-
Superbowl sunday is always a madhouse.

Agreed, but I can see where they're coming from with it. The place is a ghost town after 8pm. Got a pair of skis a few days ago so picked that back up. Mostly park but by day 3 it was like I've been skiing for A while. Learned to hit most rails, come out switch etc etc. Started to learn 270 out last night but ran out of time before I could fully get it spinning on skis off a rail is way easier than on a snowboard
