" I have always considered myself a slopestyle rider, but its just that you get so much more recognition for riding the pipe." That statement right there in that interview just sums up how much of a business this is to him. Look at some of the other riders like sage and tornstein and halldor who have said in countless interviews and video parts/documentaries that they could care less if they get recognized at least they're doing what they love to do.

I know it's been said before but if there's enough snow it'd be cool to see a butter pad made out of snow with a down rail on it, even if it's small it'd be something fun. The setup right now is real fun though. IMO it has a lot of flow to it. I really like the flat rail to down donkey dick that's set up. I think they could be spaced a little further apart so you have some time to set up for the down but it's Definatley a fun feature regardless. Also, I think it would be cool to have the wall ride set up as a stall again but with a down rail on the other side so you can stall the top and drop into a down rail. Just my opinions on some things. Other than that, can't comain about the park at all this year or it's upkeep. Everything has been kept 100%.

It shoots you too high up and not out, that's just what I got from it. I think it's a little big for its position on the trail. You have to bomb from the lift basically and on a busy night, like last night, it's dangerous because all the retards are out. I do applaud you guys for making bigger things this year though.

Yup. Good old burton buying company's to keep them in the industry then dissolving them.
-
Did the kicker actually have pop to it this morning? I hit it last night with more than enough speed and it had absolutely no pop at all.
-
It needs to be cut. There's no lip on it tonight and it has no pop to it at all.
-
Not many, I took "better" as bigger jumps.
-
Uhhh what about the one towards the middle?

I live 8 miles from bear, we're only getting 1-3". I assume you live in southeastern pa/northern Delaware? That's where the most snow is projected

They were a bunch of cool dudes. You should try to set something up for us snowboarders. It was awesome to see them rip through the park though. They seemed like they enjoyed it

Jack Frost is always a good choice.

The Line Traveling Circus is there today as well
-
you should. Park is on point today. Get here early though. Place will be a madhouse come 3 o'clock.

spot on. Actually got a good "talking to" by a dad at bear last week because I said its not the best, or safest, idea to bring his kid through the park on a leash because of the many blind spots that are in most terrain parks. His response, in front of his maybe 5 year old kid, was "I paid for a ticket I'll go wherever the fuck I want" which I kindly replied that I'm an advanced park rider and I've almost been taken out by people who don't spot landings or run outs to certain features and that it's more of a safety issue for beginners to be in there than an inconvenience.

Actually Tom do you know why they turned off? I heard a car took out a poll on state road but we all know how whisper down the lane works
-
They probably turned back on after I left. Figures.
-
They do. Not enough to have it safe though. About 50% of the lights were on when the the generator kicked in and the lift was basically crawling
-
New setup is real fun. Power went out around 7 so I think they closed up. I left when it went out so not too sure what happened after. It's pretty eery out there with no lights on
-
I don't go that way to bear anyway
-
We're leaving now. The rains coming down too hard. They're losing serious base and the snow is turning to shit. Satisfied with the trip though. I'll post a full report later on
-
Woke up today to a slight rain. Heading to sugar and spice and then to the hill for the last day.
-
Legs are surprisingly fine at the moment. Lower back is a different story. We've been drinking pretty much all day. Started the day off with 2 beers each on the gondola ride. Going to jax tonight so hopefully I'll drink away my soreness

Speaking of winds and closed lifts, did anyone see the video from Bridger on Saturday?
