  1. What a funky way to say my dads name...You-Gene... He would probably get on TV, but I get the chicks.
  2. I wouldn't call it a mountain.. ...Its a very small hill. If you are a beginner/intermediate, then its probably a good hill for it. The thing with Spring Mountain, its very old fashioned, with very small lifts, and an old cafeteria. If you want to travel 30 extra minutes to a slightly bigger mountain, then go to Bear Creek. It offers more terrain, and has better lifts, better cafeteria, better service. But its up to you. Both are good for beginners/intermediates.
  3. I'll "break-a-leg"...
  4. I'm going to Blue next weekend! I want to be on TV!
  5. Anyone got any pictures? I want to see them filming.... Pretty cool that a local mountain is being filmed....
  6. Lucky f*ck. I wish I were you... ...I'll be at Vail though in March, so HA!
  7. It sucks, but watch it change like a bajillion times before the day actually gets here...
  8. I went. It was alright. Not the best. So we got there at 7:30, and got lift tickets. The snow was soft groomed, snow, and the race course was set up already. Since I was skiing with my new custom insoles, I had to get used to the feeling of it. So after a few runs, I got used to it, and felt like I was skiing on a cloud. I had total control. The snow was really chunky, and very hard as the morning went on. The best trail, was Barney Bumps/Main Street. Best snow, and man made pow made for excellent carves. It got mad crowded with a lot of Tom's, Dick's, and Harry's. A lot of people that didn't know what they were doing, so we left at around 11:30. Challenge was chunky/icy, so we didn't go on it to much. Paradise was 2nd best, with very soft snow. But a lot of noobs on it. Switchback opened up at around 9, after intense snow making, they were grooming it. Nice corduroy for the first run on it, but then, very icy. So Main Street prevailed as the best trail. Good snow on it. But main thing was, CROWDS were so big today. It was almost to much.
  9. Thats really scary...So he's out of the hospital already? Hope he gets on the slope again soon! You know, all of these bad crashes started flowing after Jeff's crash....strange.
  10. They do...Thursday and Sunday nights (maybe afternoons as well)....
  11. I don't get it..... but yeah, conditions do suck at the end of the day, but also, snowboarders like you ruin the snow. Its called scraping off the dust on crust.
  12. My dad told me that some guy called him Eugene. My dad didn't remember you. I was like, did he have camoflauge skis? My dad said yes, and I was like , OH, its nOxidee!
  13. Saturday I am not working. So I'll be there. Hopefully they'll have NASTAR running. It was good skiing with you to again.
  14. After lunch, I did a run on WL, and a few boomer runs. Then my legs got beat, so I went to Whistler, and worked on carving. Ski, you should've seen the way my carving improved. I was carving so well. My dad even said I look like Jeff. Next season, when Jeff is good again, I'll race him at Blue. Chinese downhill. Boomer was bumped up with very soft bumps, which allowed me to practice mogul skiing. Next weekend, my dad and I will try to make the trip again!
  15. No, I'm not questioning you about anything. That post wasn't even targeted to you. I'm not saying I'm a better skier then you. I'm not better then alot of people...But I am improving every weekend I get out. I am currently working on putting together links of carves the length of the trail. As a role player, I put my groove on.
  16. I like role play !
  17. Its a shame that someone like you, works for such a great mountain,.... ...shame
  18. You're so arrogant. The ski team is ignorant. They ran over my skis in the lift line a few weeks ago. The instructors don't care about anyone except their little kids. I pay to ski Blue Mountain just like the ski team. Why can't I ski the trails they hog up to them selves? The ski team doesn't do anything for the greater good of the mountain. They just take up all trails and use them like they are the only ones there.
  19. I was up there also...I wonder where Ski is? So I got up to Sno at around 8:30 or so, and stayed till 2:30. What a great day. My dad and I skied a good amount of runs on the NF, and did Boomer most of the time. It had very soft moguls, which got me practicing my mogul skillz. I skied with Ski most of the morning. At around 11, I went in for lunch, and then did Switch and Whistler till 2...with a few NF runs. I was working on carving on Whistler because it was a very wide trail, with almost no one on it. I actually improved my carving, with Ski's little nifty tip, of digging your pinky into the snow of your uphill ski. That worked wonders. Tomorrow I am going to Salters Ski Shop in Eagleville, to get custom insoles. I'm sick of my feet hurting for the first 10 or so runs, and having to unbuckle them for the lift ride. Ski pointed out thats its not right to have my buckles to the last notch. So hopefully, a good hour of getting custom insoles should help. Anyone know if Salters Ski Shop is good? Anyone ever been there? I've been there, but just to look around.
  20. Correction, sno pellets.
  21. Thats good! We'll do the one legged steeze on the NASTAR course....lol
  22. We can't.... yeah, i'm expecting to have very good conditions...better then last year at J-hole....
  23. I'll be up there as well...you know who I am... I'll be there! You know who I am! I think you know who I am......holler at me people! I'll be at Sno in the early morning, till about 3, to race NASTAR. Then I have a date to the movie theatres....
  24. I can do the bowls....I mean, I'll try them....doubt i would be able to do em'..... What ever..i'll have fun.
