  1. I had an awesome time. I do love to ski indeed. I want to thank you though once again, for actually taking your time to give me a ton of pointers that really helped. I'll be out at Sno again either the 19th or the 20th. 2 weeks from today. Nick is a bit scary. I thought the park mafia leader was about to saw my neck off.
  2. And we don't care that you and your butt buddy Kyle went on all those HUGE 60ft jumps. Lay off Sno, and Ski. Your a troll. Ass hat. Two words: Tw@t Waffle.
  3. Nice pics Ski! I didn't know you took a pic of me doing my one legged steeze! Thanks for the pics....
  4. Hey guys, whats up? I got back not to long ago from a very nice day at Sno Mountain. It was my first time there, and I LOVED it. In the morning, I was skiing the black diamonds off the Phobe Snow Lift. mainly Smoke, and Boomer. They had very nice snow and very soft man made Pennsylvania powder. At about 11:00ish, I went to the lodge to let my feet rest. My feet were in pain from my boots, and a good rest solved that problem easily. I then went back out on the snow, and went to the Nastar area to get registered, and get my bib number. Then I grabbed lunch from the huge lodge. I got a pizza, Butterfinger Crisp, and a Gatorade. The food was delicous, and filled me up right. After lunch, I went back to the Nastar course. Took 2 runs down, and got no medal first NASTAR run of my life, but second run, I got a bronze medal. Before my 3rd run down, I was at the start gate, letting my dad go first, and I saw a guy with a crazy looking orange helmet and some weird jacket Jeff wore last year . This guy exclaimed "Chippy?!" I was like "Ya that be me son." He continued and say its Cole (Ski). Cole asked me where I was and where he was. I thought I would see him on the North Face off the Phobe Snow Lift. So at around 11:30-12:00, we were doing Nastar for a good 2 hours or more. He gave me tips on what to tweak when I was racing, and my times went from 45.35, to 43.6 to 42.1. I guess little things make a BIG difference. He taught me alot, and it really helped. I was very consistent with my times, getting bronze alot... I will let Ski fill in anything I might have missed...
  5. I'll have a reply to any pros and cons tomorrow because I'm skiing at Sno tomorrow with Ski...

  14. So, I just took a shower after another fabulous day at Jay Peak. There was now "Jay Cloud" over the mountain today, making visibility oh so much better. The snow was incredibly fast today. I was carving up Ullr's Dream most of the day, did a Jet run, and then lunch. Then I did more Ullr's, and it stayed so good. There was almost no ice at all. I did a few glade runs, but the intermediate runs only. They weren't bad. One my friends up here went in, and he sank waist deep into powder without pow skis. It was funny seeing him trying to get out... Tomorrow the snow should be even faster, but a bit warmer about 35 degrees under partly sunny skies...holla
  15. Thanks...I still hadn't had poutine... I didn't hit the glades yet...I will though... Oh yes they do... Not yet...my dad did get new goggles...
  16. Whats up everyone? I skied Jay Peak today from open till 3. They close at 4, but I decided to quit because I am getting blisters on the bottom of my foot, and its not fun with that. So with the actual TR, so, I got in line for the Tram at about 8:45, and we boarded the first tram at 9. The top was GLORIOUS with about 4 inches of fresh pow, and sunny. We skied down on Northway to the bottom, and back on the Tram, and then to Ullrs' Dream to the Tram. Then we went to The Flyer HSQ, and lapped Ullrs' Dream alot, for the fresh pow pow. As the day went on, the snow started to fall harder, and a cloud enveloped the mountain reducing the visibility to nothing on the upper mountain. After lunch, i went to The Jet tripple, and lapped The Jet, and the other black diamonds on that side. All in all, it was an EPIC day! Minus the fact that I developed blisters on my feet, and my kneed kinda got nicked, but I will heal over night. (Knock on wood)
  17. That cannon is NICE! I might have to get it.
  18. Oh, I didn't forget them...i already put them on the ski racks...the skis at least...I put the boots and the poles separately....
  19. That looks like Tripe...It looks good though. I'm so excited to leave! I already finished packing. I hope I didn't forget anything. I don't want to swim, so no bathing suit needed...i got under armour, two different base layers, socks, and ski socks, under wear, shirts, jeans, pajamas, sweaters and hoodies, and a hat....holla....almost time to leave! The next time I will post will be from Inglenook Lodge at Jay Peak...
