Is Bear Creek gonna make snow anytime soon, or are the trails gonna have bare spots for awhile?

Is Nastar racing held every weekday or JUST Wed.? If its held every weekday I will be there tommorow.

I just came back from skiing at Bear Creek. I got there at like 9, and our lift ticket lasted until 2:05. The first like 10 runs were awsome, some bear spots, but still good. Then the weather started to get crappy, it started to rain and we wanted to leave so we did, and went into the lodge to eat lunch at around 1:30. If it didn't rain, I would still be skiing now, but oh well!

Nope, I will not go tonight, I have other plans with my family, I can't drive either only 15.

Will they close due to this? Will they make snow and get water from another source one way or another? Just some questions I would like to get cleared up for me, THANX!

^^^Ha ha, you will, maybe I will see you there next week. lol. The snow was really good, hardly any ice. I went from 12:30 to 5:15, I stayed extra since they don't check ski tickets anymore. They really don't care. but, I had a great time, everyone was really nice to me and my dad.

I went up to CB today, conditions, AMAZING! weather, also AMAZING! All the trails were great, as far as I can see, though. I will go up again next week, a few time perhaps. I tryed to get pics, but they came out crappy.

I am going up to Bear Creek tommorow night, but since its Christmas eve, when will it close? Thanx a bunch !

How long is this thing going to last? Bad news is that I might not be able to make it cause i got this thing to go to at 2, to see the band thing called Stomp. If I can go I will say.

Wait, since I just signed onto this thing earlier this month, what EXACTLY do people do during PASR day? I am just wondering, if you guys do tricks, I don't like doing tricks, i am more of a person that just goes down the mountain for the heck of it, you know, just to go down for fun without all the extra pressure of people watching you go doing tricks.

I might be able to get there this Saturday. If not then I will be at Camelback. I hope I can. What do I have to do to participate in this PASR day thing at Bear Creek? Do I have to wear anything from PASR? Or should I just come in person and say my name off this message board? But I hope I can get there on Saturday, that would deffinitly rock !

Alright Blues site is up again, but on their condition's page, they say none of the trails are open! Did they not update this? Is that fog on the Webcam? Oh well, its not like I am going skiing today No one will take me until Thursday. My dad is away for business.

I am trying to get onto Blue Mountains website, but it keeps saying Bad Gateway or something. Does this happen with everyone? I want to see the conditions at Blue but no site, its really annoying me .

So what if its closed! Ok, who do you think they are thinking of? Them selves? NO! They are thinking of you and you and you, aka the people that ski and ride! I heard of so many accidents around here this morning, they don't want that to happen to the people that go to CB! They want it to be safe, its prolly a pole that has been taken that alot of people hate skiing and riding on ice, I hate it my self too, its anoying, and all you do is slide, and thats it! They want everyone that comes to have a day that the people look back to not a bad day of crappy riding! Lets stop teasing CB, cause this is just the beggining of the season, plenty more days of skiing and riding. Give CB a break, they are doing it for the best, not for the worst. I really don't care if they are closed, they are just trying to have a better day for you guys tommorow and this whole season! Think of this closed day as a good thing not a bad thing, you guys will prolly look back at what you are saying and say "Huh, good thing they closed on December 16, 2005. I am so glad cause this weekend was so much fun!" Just some food for thought

Alright, Bear Creek is probably one of the closest mountains around me. Or maybe I rather say, biggest around me. I skied there last year 10-15 times and I have to hand it to Bear, IT WAS A BLAST. I love Bear Creek, its great, the size is awsome, besides Camelback, but thats to far to go alot. Bear is just a great mountain overall. I have to give Bear Creek a two thumbs up for their great mountain, staff, and everything else. Camelback is just behind Bear Creek on my list only because its so far from me. If it was closer it would be tied!

I know a rough estimate of BC's opening, but when will they start night skiing???? I will die if no one answers, well not really just mad ......... lol!

All but one trail? Wow, thats NICE! I am deff. going for that!

I read somewhere that they are starting night skiing on opening day. I got it from someone that was there today on the ski instructer meeting. I don't know which person to beleve!!!! For the early opening, yay. We should all have a run together at CB.

What are the conditions like up at Bear Creek right now? Will they keep making snow? When is the opening? I would really like to see an opening when Camelback will. Peanut butter jelly time peunut butter jelly time, where you at where you at; there you go there you go; penut butter jelly with a base ball bat! Ok that was from Family Guy! It was funny.

I am planning to go up on Sunday, does anyone think its gonna be crowded? I don't really care, I just dont like the long lift lines!

Is there anything else you want to tell us, about opening day? I want to ski fast!
