I went through once at around 12, and then once again around 1. Guess I must've caught you at a funny time.... after that I headed off to the bumps to play around. fun times.

Definitely a really good day at elk. Saw the whole race crew, met captain. Definitely a great snow day! Phil- I looked around for you a lot of the day, finally saw you while I was in the bar and you were by the ski rack. kate- I went lookin for ya in the park... no such luck though

Definitely an awesome day for everyone involved! Little '999let must have felt so mature sitting next to doug... lol. Days like today make me remember half the reason I like racing so much.

I dunno... If they have the bumps on a green and people that should be skiing a green are in those bumps they might need the way out... Don't let that picture fool you either, some of the bumps at the end of the mogul field are decent sized and caught me by surprise when i got lazy absorbing...

Trees should be very fun. I think the powder skis will be making an appearance tomorrow. Somebody make sure they let me know where to find them or somebody find me... I'll be stuck skiing alone most of the day. Also, due to the race on saturday at Twood I'm saving the tune on my superspeeds, so if you're looking for me I'll be on a white pair of twin tip volkl karmas.

This just in- Metz will be making his first ever Elk appearance on friday. Look for a red Spyder jacket with black pants, red boots, black volkls, red lens goggles, and a black helmet with 2 PASR stickers on the back. just tap me on the shoulder or pelt me with a snowball. I'll probably be checking out the race a lot. I gotta see our guys tear it up.

Yeah, let me tell you, I skied through the park last night (they didn't have fences or lollipops blocking it off). I really thought these huge mounds of snow were going to be fluff, but they're packed hard. There is enough snow in that park to lay roughly another 1.5 feet down on the whole trail. I have a feeling we're going to be going strong really late into march. This late feb. cold spell might just save eastern skiing.

Hey, those bumps on oak grove are fun as hell! I might have stayed there for most of the night if I had the twin tips.

Sorry, I don't fool around on race day. Last time I ended up in a red toboggan. But if I was going to fool around, it would be a wicked 4 way with me, duchess, the pacesetter, and the older lady that sits the nastar booth. werd. Now that would be a story.

No jeff, I don't think I'm going to beat you too. But I definitely feel like I have a 20 HC run in me. I really don't think Doug can touch that. And please Jeff, preserve the tune. Better change waxes though... its going to be a little warmer than it has been.

I recommend Dave Pelz's Short Game Bible, seeing as what time of year is coming up. Either that, or Webster's Dictionary. That way you can break out of the Nipples/Mike Tyson division for the national spelling bee. And bet everything that I'll have LOTS of sugarfree redbull in my system tomorrow night. I might have to challenge you to a Redbull chugging competition too.

Metz, hands down. I'm going to be on my superspeeds... with an uber amazing wax combo, and a fantastic edge. There's no edge in equipment. It all comes down to skill and desire.
