  1. Most definitely mbike, most definitely. Does atomic even realize how big of a bullseye he wears?
  2. I hate poke-a-ho. I will never ski that trail again. Its the devil. I think they should let the snow on it melt and not blow anymore. boo to poke a ho. Alright, I have skied it since the crash, I lied. lol Yeah, I was a major snow covered meat gate on sunday night... on my board. I'm just glad no PASR members were around with cameras... lol
  3. As much as i'd like to, unfortunately, Doug is out west now. Bearing in mind that this is all just in good fun, I hope to churn out the kind of times that I know I'm capable of tonight, be the needle that deflates jeff's head (simultaneously making him crap his spyders), and then get on my board after the race, hence giving everyone a good laugh... But, like I said, this is all in good fun, I'm just a big fan of having a little competition. Hope to see you up there man! anyways, I've got some things to do, including having my side bevel changed on my Superspeeds... Talk to you all later, I'll be up around 4 or 430.
  4. I posted my setup in another thread, but I didn't go with the flows- rumor has it during heavy freeriding they've been known to disengage. As I already look like a big enough tool on a board, I'd like to avoid really looking like a supertool. I went with the Ride EX bindings, and got the convertible toe strap for them. Bunny, yeah, if you want to pack out your boots to see where they'll be the local shop should be able to blow them out for you... I might just stop in at nestor's today on my way to blue to take a look around. And I think i might even be on my board tonight after nastar... hmm... this should provide some entertainment for all of you... I also now have some older ride bindings for sale, maybe 4 years old. I have to check the model.. they might be womens... Not sure. I'll check the model and post for everyone. I'd take 50 for em. They're a good option for ya mike if bunny isnt' getting rid of the vxns. They fit up to a size 9 or 10 boot.
  5. Eh, you know its bad when such an established racer (skidude) is asking me for the skis off my feet... lol... Considering he was sking SL skis, much shorter, and with a LOT less pop than what ridge was skiing, I'd have to say thats a ridiculously fast time.
  6. Tonight, my friend, the world turns upside down.
  7. Nothing against thinksnow or anyone else that might be out there, but jeff, you're a much more lucrative target.
  8. Its on. You know who you are and what I'm talking about. I'll be at blue tomorrow right around 4 pm. Look for PASR stickers on the back of my black helmet... red jacket. around 6:30 you can find me at the nastar course.
  9. I'm DEFINITELY for no rental skis on advanced trails or in parks. If you're that good, buy skis, or get a season rental from a local shop, thats what I always did while I was still growing a lot. That way I could outgrow skis and not worry about having to buy new ones the next year. If all else fails- completely humiliate those who don't belong where they are. ok, I was joking... kinda.
  10. I can tell you whats NOT my favorite- Big Pocono... it sucks. I hate it. I could definitely do without it existing. Most of you know why. lol. Seriously though, I'd have to say Hump or cliffy with fresh snow. Or Coolmoor... its the best gaping trail ever... I could sit there for hours laughing...
  11. Definitely a great night... about the most fun I could have on skis... Next week maybe I won't let adam and ridge win... yeah, and maybe instead of rain next week beer will fall from the sky... Oh, wait, I'm not under the quad at blue.
  12. Awesome time at bear creek tonight for nastar. Role call included Skimom, Ridge, Papasteeze, Skidude, and myself racing, and Nipples and Lurker were to be found elsewhere on the mountain. As always, it was a pleasure spending time with everyone and getting some quality runs in. Can't wait to see everyone out there next week! Also, congrats to Ridge and Skidude, tying for the best time tonight! Another 2.5 seconds and i had you... lol
  13. Well, what can we do about the situation? I am all for park passes, and along with that, black diamond passes. Do it just like creek does it. 5 bucks for the season, all you have to do is watch a 10 minute video... God knows it would help alleviate a lot of problems.
  14. Shadows, i hear ya loud and clear. I thank my dad every day for the first lesson he taught me in skiing- know your limits, challenge them, but respect them, and always stay in control. I wish the rest of the world knew it.
  15. Alright, here's a serious problem I'm noticing, and the daily reports are proving it to me. There are far too many skiers on trails that they shouldn't be on. Why am I seeing the ever-present pizza wedge on Razors, challenge, and Falls... I mean, yeah, the last time I was out there I had to take it easy on razors, but i was in control... If I see one more noob get on the headwall, fall into the backseat, wedge up his/her skis, fly straight down out of control, take out 3 people, set up a yardsale at the bottom of the headwall, and then take 3 and a half hours to collect all their equipment and get back into their rental skis, I'm going to flip out on them. Why is it that THOSE are the people that never get reported to ski patrol? THEY are the ones skiing outside of the code, being out of control and in WAY over their heads. They should have their tickets marked, and revoked if they get caught doing it again. Who's with me?
  16. Or what if they made nile into a park since conditions are crappy more than half the time on that side of the mountain, put a bar in the park, and had the hot tubs on the side of nile so that us gapers could sit back with a beer in the hot tub and watch you sick slopestylers trying to steal the women off our laps in the hot tubs? And they should be opening the first triple black diamond this weekend, it starts on the cameltop deck, and you just have to jump off the railing and into the woods, and you're on it. I won't be greedy though, you guys can get first tracks on it, I'll be right behind you
  17. Hey all, I'm heading up to Sugarbush/Mad River on Feb. 12-18. Its not as cool as going to say J-Hole, or Alta (lucky b*stards ) But hey, its going to be my little trip to heaven... besides, why ski out west when you can tear up serious hardpack out here... If anyone's going to be up there on trips/races/etc. let me know and we'll definitely take some turns.
  18. LOL, that article glorifies the bar bands a little... last night I witnessed a man strutting around the bar in a t-shirt, suit jacket and top hat with a whip singing Devo. Humorous- you better believe it. There are, however, much better cover bands out there. Don't get me wrong though, its nice to have that kind of entertainment when you stop into the bar for 15 min. for a beer and a soft pretzel... In all seriousness though, night skiing is a totally different experience. Yesterday I spent the day on skis and the night on my board.
  19. LOL... wow, called out by the Steeze... In response, I have to say that I hope to be training with another blonde next weekend, she'll just be much older than me, married, faster than me, will have beaten me in my last race, and have a son that they call the dude... hehe Don't judge my training because I like to mix business with pleasure...
  20. Sounds great mom, I'm looking forward to it... Yeah, for once Marjies was in the best shape of any of the blacks yesterday. I took one run down Marjies and one down The Asp. Asp was missing something, though... snow... thats what it was... it was missing snow...
  21. Mom- Yeah, I did see you in the locker room, and I said hi, but I don't know if you heard me... at first I wasn't sure if it was you or not. Congrats on your race yesterday though! I've been a bit lax in my training this year. Finally I've started feeling confident enough to ski the whole mountain again. Unfortunately, I'm just not confident enough to really go hard on the diamonds yet... especially with the conditions we had yesterday... Hopefully next weekend we'll have a nice cover and I'll be feeling up to getting in with the masters. My skiing was sloppy at best yesterday. Well, hope to see you out there soon!
  22. true, edit there... i did see ridge, but I don't think anyone recognized me because i was incognito today... although I was wearing a snazzy PASR hoodie all day... I figured someone would stop me and say hi... no such luck... except for some tall kid thats really fast...
  23. Alright, whats up CB'ers? I was up at CB today, conditions were horrible, but hey, thats to be expected after this weather. Saw Skidude and took some laps with RAcerchick. not sure if it was him, but I thought I saw dominant from the park lift. Brought my buddy Jared up, and we had a great time!
  24. Its official, I'll be up there between 10 and 10:30. See whoever's up there when I get there. Ps- dth- props on the signature.
  25. hey all, there is a chance I might be hitting up Camelback tomorrow. If I do, I won't be in my standard gear. I'll be on my snowboard. Red and Black Never Summer Premier, red ride bindings, Salomon Synapse boots. I'll be in a black PASR hoodie repping hardcore, with gold pants on, and a black helmet with PASR stickers on the back of it. Let me know who will be up, or just find me on the hill... shouldn't be that hard with PASR scrawled across my chest much like a moving billboard.
