i dont think anyones complainging about the setup right now, ide just like to see some more creative stuff, like last year they had one of the flow boxes set up shot gun style, that was fun and relatively easy to set up. Also they had the big battle ship with the three boxes, a down box would be nice as well, like the one they had on the halfpipe before it was open last year, how about bringing back the mailbox rail, set it up on a quarter pipe, how about the the old big house rail, i really wanna gap that thing, and i mean i still dont understand why the barrel bonk isnt fixed, its just sitting at the bottom of the trail... I think most of us are just used to last yar when they changed up the park like every other week. Me personally ide just liek to see some more creative stuff, lets get crazy bear, do some stuff other parks wouldnt think and dont have. you know?

agreed... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we see some creative stuff. You guys had the barrel bonk out for like one day and then it broke, the guy said it was gonna be back by like last tuesday, but it just sits at the top of the tubing run (Ithink thats the same barrel, if not im sorry) but lets see some cool creative stuff please. When is the car gonna be coming out to?? and why dont you guys throw some of those little rails sitting up ont he old cascade trail in???? Ide like to see the battleship rail, or some of that other little fun stuff....and hows about the superman box??? that thing was always fun, doesnt take alot to set it up either. But most of all ide like to see the barrel bonk come back, and maybe some log jibs to, that would be sooo awesome.....

actually preffered parking would be really cool, roundtop has it but you have to pay 5 dollars, maybe what bear could do is you pay extra on top of your pass to get a preffered parking pass, i think ide do that so i didnt have to go through the headaches of having to find a spot every day. Also mountain creek does 10% off for food so i dont think thats a bad idea either...

well this is talkign about when theres not good enough coverage for the other trails to stay open, and when that happens get together all the snow they can and pus it together and put some rails on it. I can understand why you wouldnt want to come out if your just planning on riding b/c 2 trails arent worth it, but if you enjoy park then it would be heaven... knaw wa mean

then dont go... DUHHHH!!!!! but for the rest of us that actually LIKE riding i think we would all deal with the crowds to make our season a couple weeks longer...

First off i dont know where in my post you saw "whining", im pretty sure i wasnt whining, im pretty sure what i was saying is that there are more constructive things we could be talking about. Second of all Im pretty sure BC Mark responded multiple times on this board explaining the situation, so i dunno where your from but im pretty sure thats dealing with it. Its not that i dont empathize with his situation, ide prolly be pissed to, but BC mark explained the situation so lets let it go, it was a mishap and theres nothing you can do about and im sure if their is something that can be done mark will take care of it. and your just as bad as everyone who whines when you whine about people whining. I wanna hear constructive things about the mountain not accounts of people who had a bad experience, im sorry thats just my opinion and im not just talking about the "park" either.

if you want some good ideas just watch any of the bear mtn videos... I still havent figured out why nobody on the east coast has taken a hint from bear and started to use all sorts of random stuff to make jibs, that stuff is def the most fun, and its easy too because you can usually make it out of stuff you have laying around...

its really sad that this crappy post has been getting the most action lately, lets talk about something more important like bears park or something that actually matters, this issue has been dealt with so lets move on....... oh yeah and bear does have prolly the wickedest tubing around, i think more people get hurt tubing at bear then they do on the mtn. People catch some seriouse air over those humps, but either way tubing is still gay.

yeahhhhhhhh they finally put a barrel bonk out like ive been saying all year, it was sooo fun when i was doing it (sorry park crew i didnt know it was closed, somebody i guess knocked down the stick) talked to the park crew guy and he said it would be back up around the mid week, i cant wait, i love tha stuff, and it makes the park so fun, also the picninc table being set up so you can go up and stall and come back down thats another reallllyyy fun thing, awesome job park crew keep up the good work!!!!!

I dont care how big that last jump is, its prolly the most fun and best jump ive ever ridden, its big eough that you can throw things like 9's off it but its not so big that it scares you.

The only problem with the park passes is im not sure how well they will work b/c their is so many little rich noobs who will just run to their moms and get the money. If having them get yelled at wont keep them out then them having to pay 5 dollars to get in wouldnt either. but it would cut down on the number of stupid moms and dads who bring their little kids through on leashes (actually i have seen that).

Today in the tubing park, some lady was standing on the knuckle of the 2'nd jump and me and my friend were yelling at her to move b/c there was people trying to drop and we got in a yelling match and she called me an ass hole and i told her ok yeah im an ass hole well your the one thats gonna be dead when someone comes over that jump and lands on you and she skiied away bitching...... my point, we need a fence up at the top of the tubing park or something b/c there's way to many retards riding through there who have no clue whats going on. I dont get it are people really that clueless that they dont know there standing on a jump?? do they not know that that is the park, not just another trail??? I dunno why but it seems like every year theres more and more ass holes at bear creek. The other day in the parking lot i was getting ready to leave and some guy drives up and beeps at me to get my attention, i was like are you fucking kidding me you ass bag??? so i just ignored him and he rolled right up close to me and asked me if i was leaving so i told him yeah and then he rolls closer and asks me again and i yelled at him and said I TOLD YOU IM LEAVING!!! and he goes ohhhh sorry i didnt hear you. well thats my pointless rant for the day. but a fence at the top of the tubing park might help a little, although it doesnt really help at the top of cascade, its just a spot for kids to sit in front of and fall in so no on else can get in the park. I cant count the number of kids who cant even ride through the fence that are going into the terrain park, i just feel like yelling at each and every one of them and telling them if you cant ride through a 8 foot wide section then you dont belong in the terrain park. Most of this stuff will never change but it would be so nice.....

are you sure they didnt have enough speed?? becuase i know i was having more fun just riding up, stalling, and coming back down then i was lauching over it....

O.K. new park design, here we go.... Black bear 1.table top and rainbow (table tops are nice rainbow needs a better lip) 2. Table top and reversed rainbow ( revers needs a better lip and the landing needs to be pushed more away from the rail so you dont flat it when you come off. Everything else in black bear is pretty much the same. Cascade: 1.Tree Jib ( NEVER taken care of, if you want to actually hit the tree nice you have to go build a lip yourself, but thats a hard feature to maintain b/c one person can ruin the lip) 2. cliff drop, pretty nice 3. on the right side you got a high flat box ( needs wider landing) 4. on the left side you got aHigh short rail (top is rusty so you stuck plus its so short it doesnt even make sense to have it out, get rid of that stupid stuff their and put something fun like a BARREL BONK PLEASE) 5. WAY right you got a pretty nice step up into a decent but small hip (hip could be bigger) 6. after the flat box you got a high flat rail, seemed ok but needed a wider landing. 7. after the high short flat rail they got the 40 foot hand rail set up going down looked nice but i didnt hit it ( lips could been wider) 8.Small stair set ( very nice) 9. Picnic table ( AWESOME, they moved it so its set up more vertical so you can go up and stall it and come back down, or launch it, and it actually has a landing!) 10. Snow nipple (should be a barrel bonk or something fun, but its ok) Everything else is the same Tubing Park 1. the only real change is the DFD was moved to next to the second hit. All the jumps in the tubing line are sick!!! Overall the new set up is ok, just a couple problems that have to be fixed, but for one nights work its an awesome job. Keep up the good work park crew, ive been saying it all year and ill say it again, we got the best park on the east coast... EASILY!!!!!!

It dosent matter if its been hella cold, if you havent noticed their water supply in the pond is hella low, which means they cant hella blow all the hella time. BC mark explained this in another forum, i believe they blow at night when they can and then let the water in the ponds regenerate over the day. We talked to someone on park crew on thursday and they said they need alot more blowing time, i mena think about it this way the pipe has to be almost full for them to cut it...

thats why there will eventually be the "family" park on whatever slope that is on the right side of the mtn, NO RIDE ON'S IN THE REGULAR PARKKKKKKK!!!!!!! im def looking forward to seeing the new changes and finally getting some rails on black bear though. we need some sorta way to spread all the little noobs out so there not all on the same trail, its just getting ridiculous.....

jump was TITTTTIIIEESSSS!!!!!! super super nice. dont listen to matt he's just a cry baby!!! haha just kidding, judging did seem flawed, results also took forever, almost missed my bedtime thanks to chuck. annoucer could have been better, didnt know toeside from heelside much less frontside from backside, candy toss was cool, nice little treat. The one thing i was honestly kinda dissapointed in was that the t shirts are almost the exact same as last year..... but thats no big deal. Overall very fun, nice job guys.

Any chance were gonna see some creative stuff anytime soon???? like some barrel bonks, or other "jib" stuff? i know something was said about this but i havent seen anything yet. That little nipple would be perfect to just slap a barrel down on. Also how about a qaurter pipe with the mail box or something on top again that would be nice.....If you want any good ideas just watch the videos from bear mtn, some of that cool creative stuff i think would be really cool to see and would def help bear to stand out....

haha i think he was talking to me..... Its good to hear your guys park is coming along nicely to, hope you have better luck with your planet pieces of shit then we did, those picnic tables do look pretty fun....
