I think it should be required that all sponsored kids ride in the open class, that way the rest of us at least have a fair chance of maybe doing ok....

Geeze i guess it really makes sense to have an awesome bus with a rail on top when you bury the whole thing?????? looks and sounds to me like blue got caught up in the "we have the biggest park in pa" race and forgot about making fun things that people can actually ride. well if all you people from blue wanna come ride a park with some real rails and jumps, with nice lips that are actually taken care of, i guess you could come to BC... haha j/k but no for real

i believe you guys mean the DFD or down flat down, its just the way they have it sitting that makes it look like a flat down flat, but yeah ide really like to see that up to and the new flat down. They were working on the big stair case and were almost done with it when i left so that should be open either tonight ot tommorrow depending on if they let it sit. Looked pretty good the only problem is it has a pretty quick transition from down the mtn to up the the lip for the rail, but it should be ok, cant wait to hit that this weekend.

I heard their putting out the tractor trailor with the rail on top!!!! that and a down flat down flat down flat down flat donw flat which is gonna be set up on a 20 foot cliff, and then their gonna have a butter box, 300 feet wide 20 feet long, should be a sick time ill be there!!!

my guess is prolly not. BB is just openign their pipe and A. theirs is smaler and B. they had like a 3 month jump on us with snowmaking, but then again you never know, haha bear pulled an awesome jump line out of their asses in like 3 or 4 days so, maybe it will be, all depends on how much snow they can get blown into it in the next couple days...

solution... move the flat box to the right for now, its really stupid where it is right now anyway, it spits all the little kids who can barely ski or ride right into the path of the stair set and then you end up getting cut off everytime. plus i still think the c box should be pulled and a barrel bonk or something cool and creative like that should be put in......

Ok so lets just get rid of the c-box. no one hits it anyway and its not even set up right, it shoots you over it instead of into it. Instead lets put in a barrel bonk, or something fun like that. ann i didnt understand why it looked like there was snow pushed up to the tree bonk but then it was never groomed out??? thats one of the most fun things out. But other then those 2 things park is awesome, jump line is awesome, and i believe we got our jump line up before blue got theirs.....thats all that really matters haha. 2'nd nice jump line in pa, awesome work bear. just keep it up....

well considering the only other place that has a snow flex thing in the united states is in texas im pretty sure we could get people to come from florida to ride the snowflex. and its not like bear would be attracting people from florida right away to ride their mtn bike park. it takes years to build something like diablo.... maybe eventually it would be as good, but a snow flex park would be instant money... guaranteed!!!

I dunno i think its gonna be roller, jump, jump. The first part that they were grooming was too mellow to be a jump landing. They had the take off of one jump started when i left, looked to be a decent 30-40 feet, cant wait to hit those bad boys, we'll show blue mt what a jump line i supposed to look like, jumps WITH landings!!!!!

Just got home, everything was pretty good, its nice to see the lips finally starting to llok good, and park crew out there liek every 20 minutes fixing the stuff, great job guys. the big news though..... JUMP LINE TO OPEN IN THE NEXT 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!! they were grooming it all day while i was there and working on getting it ready, should be pretty sick. Overall a very fun day.

Mark if you really want to boost non winter revenue i think you guys should look into getting snow flex. I realize that it would be very expensive to put somthing liek this in, but think abou the revenue that would be generated... People would come from 3- 4 states away just to rdie the snow flex and while their here they would be staying in your hotel and eating at your restaurants. I guarantee you it would be crowded almost every day, and then during the winterr you could just blow right on top of it. Im not sure but i think this would be the first of its kinda in the united states as well.. just a suggestion

something doesnt sound exactly right there.... ide be kinda pissed if i was the nestors guys who lost to them by a little bit...

i dont understand, they knew it was gonna rain and they knew it was gonna be in the 50's, they've been saying that alll week, so why didnt they concentrate all their extra power ( all their movable guns) on the 3 trails so at least they could stay open through the weekend and into the next snow blowing window???? oh well, im sure i couldnt run the resort so w/e... their be open again in a couple of days. at least they got a little something on the ground to work with now instead of nothing...

Its not looking to good, just got home a lil while ago and it was good in the morning but then it started to rain and get sluchy and really bad. I wouldnt be suprised if they didnt open tommorow.......

I say bear looks into investing in some snow flex so we could ride allll year round.... do you know how many people you could bring in????? a whooollllleeeeee lot. think about all the kids that go to camps around here during the summer spending 3000 dollars each and then think about if just all that money was going to bear creek????? good idea??? i think so!
