If you want a true twin jib/park board that wont break the bank either, go with the stairmaster, I just got mine this year and it so sick, most fun board ive ever ridden. i mean havent ridden it alot ( haha i think we all know why cough cough 60 degrees outside) but from what i ahve ridden it handles great on groomers and the rest of the moutain while still being able to press very nicely. It def not a noodle like the www or the artifact. It presses but only when you want it to press which is really nice. Soooo... my suggestion... go wit a stairmaster. SICK BOARD FO SURE!!

maybe they took the windows out and replaced them with plexy glass or something, that would be the logical thing to do, that bus seems pretty cool . itll be interesting to see how they set it up and might actually be fun to hit....

it seems like there is always a thread on here about somebody looking for street rails, but when are people gonna learn. People scout rails, usually a lonnnggg time in advance and sometimes you might only get one shot at that rail so people arent just going to give up the rails that they find. Its hard enough just finding one and getting to do it once without other people poaching the stuff youve worked so hard for...... but then again maybe there is some people on here who are willing to share

well i just got home, i was up there sice 8 this morning and i got to say i was pleasently suprised, for what they had to work with bear did a good job. they had a good variety of stuff and for the most part everything was good. I only have one major complaint and andy if you read this can you please please try and fix this.... most of the lips up the rails ( and when i say most i mean almost all) were entirely to big, they shot you half way down the rail. it seemed like the jumps up to the rails were like booter style rather then a nice mellow long jump. a good example of this is exactly how BB and mtn creek set up their rails, they have a nice mellow jump up to them and if your stading in front lookign down the rail the lip should end a little under or in line with the bottom part of the sliding surface so its still an ollie on and not a ride over the booter and land half way down thing. now dont get me wrong b/c in nooo way am i trashing bear, i had soo much fun today and everything was very nice plus i know that all the lips were hand built and stuff b/c you couldnt take a groomer up ( or so someone from the park crew said) but just for future reference thats one of the things that ide reallllly like to see fixed. oh yeah im working on putting an edit together from opening day so when i get that done ill post a link to it. once again bear creek best park on the east coast 06-07 BOOYEAH!!!!!!

i def agree, anyone who has ever ridden mtn creek could def tell that the set ups were VERY VERY similar..

I know it dosent matter to the loyal passholders at BB but i was up there yesterday and i thought it was awesome!!! im just as dissapointed as everyone to here that Park logic is leaving but i thought BB's park crew is doing an amazing job!! they were out every hlaf and hour grooming everything, which is really nice considering most mtn's groom the stuff in the mornign and then just let it go the rest of the day. soo BB park crew keep up the good work, i think despite this obviouse set back you guys are still gonna have on of the best parks around. p.s.- I saw them building some of the new "big jumps" on tannenbaum or merry widow or w/e (sorry i dont know the name of the trails) and they look SICKKK!!! cant wait to go up there when they got everyything set up and fully running...

hahaha i love bear creek!!! but i dont see how they are gonna open tommorow, i just looked at the webcam and the coverage is TERRIBLE!!! I couldnt really tell but is there piles they push around and spread out?? b/c if not..... either way i still be there, even if half the trails are mud, ill still be there!!! WOOOOO but seriousely can we get some cold weather??? no more raining and 50's THIS IS DECEMBER!!!!! i mean come on

ok ok well its coming down to the wire (opening day) and it seems like i cant get the freakin web cams to work no matter what computer im on so hows about some hints at what we can be looking at for opening day, jib wise that is, i saw that the small stair set has snow up to it, will the dc (or bc) stairset be open??? how about other jibs and rails? hook us up with some info somebody i cant wait another day!!! im dieing here!!!!

Im confused, maybe just dumb, but im going up there today.... does all this mean that the big park ISN'T going to be open???? is there still gonna be jump on freedom or w/e, i hope so b/c i wouldnt want to drive all the way up there for nothing...

The 'Merry Widow' Park is expected to open on Tuesday at 3:00pm....... EXPECTED does this mean that it will def open or will possibly open b/c im trying to decide whether to go all the way up there to bb or just make the trip up to blue, im hearing that both are decent right now so im not sure...

so what all does BB and JF have goin in their parks right now??? im trying to decide if its worth it to driv all the way up there tommorow night or if i should just hit up blue....

I wasnt hating on other mountains, im just saying that everyones talking about BB and yeah its def gonna be the shit this year and im gonna make multiple trips up there but people are over looking the fact that bear has some seriousely heavy shit this year, the likes of which nobody around here has ever seen, no body on the east coast has seen stuff like this unless youve travled out west, but bear is being left out of the picture because of something that is out of their control, its not their fault they dont get the temperatures needed to blow ridiculous amounts of snow. AND i correct myself in my statement that BB did not have a pipe, ive just never seen it the 3-4 times i ve been up there but apprently they do have one. As for the "jiblab" i wasnt reffering to the jiblab, i was saying parklogic is same people and the same style of rails, thats why its in quotes. people are so eager to jump at others for jumping when in reality they should be looking at themselves. the only thing i have to be jealous of big boulder for is their ability to make snow and yes ill admit i am jealous, i wish bear was open right now, i wish they could have been blowing everyday almost all day for the past week but hey i guess ill just have to settle for having some of the most progressive jibs on the east coast. fair trade???? i think so.. plus for the lack of booters at bear, that is going to be settled this year when they turn half of the tubing park into a big hit line (for those of you who were there early season last year you know what im talking about) and thats staying around all year this year, not just for a couple weeks, which should completely elimanate all question of who has the best park. and hey if you wanna hate me for pointing out my opinions then thats fine, but wait till after opening day to say that bear is ovverated b/c i have a feeling that everyone is going to be pleasently suprised this year as to what bear has in store for this season.

Umm bear creek is still gonna kick big boulders a$$. YEah ok they got "jiblab" there now but so what , bear creek has been making stuff just as good as jiblabs for 2 years now, and ive seen the stuff that boulder has and ive ridden it and its DEF no better then bears. you people out there hatin on bear arent even gonna know what hit you once they open. With features like a down flat down, 2 flat downs, and 2, countem 2 stair sets, big boulder wont even be able to touch BC. PLUSSS does big boulder have a pipe, welll last time i was there ohhh for opening day the answer was NO. Yeah they really took a risk dedicating over half the mtn to park and it will pay off b/c their def gonna kick a$$ but they wont even be able to touch bear creek. ESpecially not now that bear is gonna have a big jump line like they had in the beginning of the year thanks to the new hotel being built. So im sorry to say but its not gonna be between bb and mtn creek, its gonna be between bear creek and no one! BOOYA!! P.S. I really do like mtn creek, its my 2'nd favorite resort and i think its better then bb but i still think bear is gonna be the best this year.

they should just do what they do for like rail jams in the city and stuff, bring in those huge ice blocks and shred them and just blow that stuff on the mountain!!! yeah sure it would cost a ton but we'd have snow.....haha

Still no word on mtn creek's new jibs and stuff???? i saw their bringing back the wall ride this year, thats pretty sweet!! ide like to know if they got any new rails or anything. Everyone else has all sortsa new stuff, mtn creek better be bringing something cool to the table.
