My guess is that they are putting up the new site. Ian told me last year that they were gonn have a new SIIICCKKKK site for this year. Ide imagine the new one should be back up within the next week.

WRRRRRRROOOONNNNGGGGGG!!!!!! hahaha j/k BUT foreal, it could be set up flat up flat im pretty sure to, all three of the ways it would work
-
If your saying its about the supports which i agree, they should be facing straight up and down then i am going with dfd. Thats the way its sitting in the pictures and the supports are almost straight up and down. I think this is a answer to BB's small metal down flat down which is ridiculously fun, and it looks like this one will be even better, b/c everyone knows bears rails are solid as all get out. Plus this dfd looks a little wider which might be nice as well. But in the end it really doesnt matter b/c im sure we'll see it dfd and fdf at different points in the season.

Sounds sick mark, all except the part about the passes, does that mean we need to scan every time going up the lift??? its such a pain in the but to have to scan every time, considering a run up and down the hill takes 10 to 15 minutes tops.
-
Are you still making guest appearances man??
-
This is a pretty good list, i only saw this now but it was all the way in the beginning of the thread, i like the idea of the jibable bear, that would be sick. That can be set up either way if you want, but im pretty sure its supposed to be a dfd.

No way dude, have you ever seen a noob try and use a tow rope???? its a complete shit show, I think it would be fine. Plus, unless they rope of the top of it, which isnt likely, your gonna have noobs coming down the hill and riding through there anyway. Its just something were all gonna have to face, the noob problem at bear will never go away. The mountain isnt big enough and unless park passes were instated, there is no way of getting rid of the problem, its just something we have to learn to live with.
-
Im thinking they should install a toe rope and make it a jib park, that you could just lap all day. That would be sick.

It is a pretty sick trail for jumps
-
DOOD...go back to wherever you came from.

Bear also never had the snow to biild comparable jumps, they just dont get the same weather to stock pile mass quantities of snow like that. Me and dolfman were just trying to say that as long as the weather cooperates, will is going to do the best he can to make that park completely sick. Nobody is saying its better then anything b/c only time can tell what it will bring. Were just saying that all the working are there right now to have a sick park, including the park manager that has the vision to take it there.

I heard big back to back hips were going in the half pipe. Like a toe side into a heel side if your a snowboarder.

Hey guys, I know its hard to believe but Will is at camelback to completely turn that place around, and he is THE guy to do it. Ive been talking to him personally and his goal is to make a mountain that has more rider input then any other mountain around. Will listens to people, he knows whats good and on top of that he knows how to shape a park. He worked at bear for a couple years (Not sure EXACTLY how many so ill let that part up to him) and those years he was there he did some great stuff. Will is looking to do some stuff never before done in PA and i wont leak any of it for his sake but trust me when i say that as long as the weather cooperates, expect some sick things out of his park. I know me and my crew will be making a couple trips there especially in early season to check things out. Will is doing all he can to turn this place around including pushing for an early opening date. I know camelback has sucked in the past but put a little trust in will, I back him 100%, he's a super nice guy and obviousely knows his way around a park, otherwise camelback would not have hired him. If you have any input or things you would like to see im sure you can talk about it here or PM him and as long as it is decently feasible, im sure you will see it at one point this season. Will's trying not just to make another one of the best park's around, he's trying to create a vibe, and i know that a tough thing to do but i believe he can do it and with time i think you guys will see that to.

Yeah thats pretty sick molly. Looks alot like will's. Do you live in like richlandtown i think its called. B/c i was driving the back way (from my house) to quakertown a while back and i thought i saw you on the side of the road.
-
Yeah bear should def get some video's going this year. It would be a great way to get the word out there about how sick the park is. Good idea too Tom with the whole builder cam thing. Ashame you couldnt have had one for setting up the quarter pipe, haha. Bet that one would have been pretty interesting, and long! haha
-
Haha, bear is sponsored by volvo now though so we would have to find someone with a used volvo to donate to the mountain. ANYONE GOT ONE????? ANYBODY????
-
will... i dunno if your allowed in here anymore, no spying on other resorts to get you ideas!!!! haha
-
that things look pretty legit, should be fun.

they have bumps on sasquatch im pretty sure...but exactly what zep said, you would only be able to ride them for like 2 hours a day on most days otherwise they would be to soft or too hard.
